"Kanojo no Imouto to Himitsu"... is far from terrible, but it's also a strange VN if you account for the NTR tag. Guilt, immorality, excitement when crossing forbidden territory, cucked partner's influence on the story? Nope, it's not like that. The title is all about the hot younger girl, and inability to suppress male instinct. It's still a cheating scenario, the problem is that important mental factors are not present.
Positive:
- TL is nice (very literal works for me, needs proofreading for minor issues with grammar); Lots of H-scenes for duration; 1 of the endings has some actual merit (i will say however, that the plot contrivance used, can be used to finish anything).
Negative:
- Appetite (dev) and the same reused assets, have been around for years with no changes; Art style has been getting better, but still needs a "lift" (it's a 2021 release); Unfulfilled premise (unless "she seduced him, and then they had lots of sex", is consider fulfillment of premise); The fiancee might as well be a potted plant (necessary to the plot, but not where it matters); V.A is not great, and there's little of it (especially main heroine).
Score: 5/10. Try reading this for one of the endings, it's surreal and manages to fit what was established, during the short running time. Don't expect much NTR though, in return you get high school heroine, and serviceable 18+.
(H-scenes are way too short, and there's no feeling of secret, unscrupulous, or cheating. Think of them as younger girl + older protagonist)
