So many people frustrated with their own lives that they can only criticize a game without investigating anything, it's shameful that by using this page, someone can compare me to many of you... You simply can't wish the developer to be able to continue his work little by little , because Karryn's Prison was horrible when it started, but look how it is now... It's better for their parents to take away the internet because the only thing they write is children's comments, no pre-investigation, just judging... I'm just going to wait what happens in the future, until then I'll wish you the best in hisproject.
Yes karryn prison and many many other game is in some kind of mess at first, that because how differ the mechanics than other game that using standart rpgm engine system, and there is reason for that and some title success is also part of that complicated process at first. but why? It's not like the og karryn prison had lack of something to fix as a game, why doesn't he made new IP it's not like this man lack any of talent to make new game, even with same setting it's ok than using other creative IP slap the name remake than make it a day.

People loved Karryn's Prison even during early development because the devs actually had something to show for their time & effort. They were consistently updating the game and finished it in a reasonable amount of time.

This game is just a rip off of the original game, uses its name for clickbait, has made very little progress in a year - mostly just porting more third-party assets into the project. Now he's even using Nyl's Mercy model with Ryan Reos' bunnygirl outfit slapped on as Karryn's model. There's about as much novelty here as an average AI-degenerated RenPy game, but those are at least serviceable for a quick fap.

Here's a short list of asset packs I could easily find: Pocket Inventory Series, Advanced Glass Pack, Generic NPC Anim Pack, Interface And Item Sounds, Dreamscape Series, Quixel assets. There also seem to be some non-UE assets like Mixamo and Daz3D models. The v0.2 Karryn specifically seems to be a Daz3D model ported to UE. That wraps up what I found in about half an hour and I won't dig any further. Certainly explains why such a barebones game is 3.2GB.

Most of the actual effort happened in the first month of development when he recreated the prison in 3D. After that it has mostly been premade asset/model and framework importing.

Though to give credit where it's due, at least he has a tiny bit of decency and isn't paywalling the game(yet).
I doubt if he ever put paywall to this game, since it's deserve to be sued if that ever happen without the original IP consent or unless he changed it's name and many of it's parts

Plenty of Patreon project use third-party IP's without permission. It's because of a loophole - You're technically not buying a product, you're just supporting the author. Take Lust for Adventure as an example, which uses Activision Blizzard's World of Warcraft IP.
