So, I'm having an issue where randomly after a battle the post-battle screen takes forever to come up. Sometimes randomly clicking or pushing enter/0 helps, but I can't figure out what's causing it.

. and focus finish the gameThanks, double checked, and indeed it seems the ccmode was never updated beyond version 1.05, I guess that is the problem (the game is the latest, downloaded from here) - from the changelog between 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 there were only minimal changes, and nothing touching images, but evidently some change was enough to break it.

I think he means playing for the first time without seeing anything on the internet that could spoil the game mechanics(guides, tips etc.). And finishing the game by only using the information presented by the game itself to win in the very first playthrough.
i remember in my old days when ending a game was a true achievement, no internet, no saves, just the feeling o loss or conquest.
People don't know how to appreciate a blind playthrough anymore
