Rem never directly stated(in that quote) that pregnancy will not be added to the game. Just that, "there's no current plans for it". AKA: v1.0.
Once he finishes the game it could(could not) be an update/expansion later down the line.
That quote is 2+ years old but it sounds like he just wants to get v1.0 out and finished before he thinks about extra content.
I didn't play it before v0.7 so I can only assume stuff like the smegma/dogeza(extra) bits of code I saw are part of the "feature creep" he wants to avoid.
I think I'm with everyone in wanting this amazing game to have more sidejobs/content but v1.0 doesn't mean the game is going to never get updated.

Yes, because comparing Standard Fantasy stuff, with 3 days pregnancies, makes perfect sence. And just FYI, even the Dev used it as a reason, of why there are no plans for Preg content, since the game is not meant to be played for such a long time.
