This thread has gotten so moronic that it's not even worth getting popcorn for. Now that's an achievement.
That is literally not the exact same shading as the AI picture (not even the same art for the left one). So before you were just the classic dumb fanboy (of a porn game lmao). Now you are straight up lying, which means you have an agenda.Oh... so he hasn't been trolling. That's kind of sad
The funniest thing that the only argument he came up with after all this verbal gymnastics can be shattered by the fact that this lighting on invisible parts has been that way years before redrawing started.
But hey, he feels like it's an AI, then why should he back it up with any proofs. It's the only truth if he says so
Here are "unnecessary" proofs from v1.0.1j:

Basically, but because the developer releases content that they don't like, they start kicking and crying very loudly and start saying that they are right and that the developer is doing it wrong because he doesn't make content adapted to their tastes. The developer has to continue like this and ignore them for a while, one thing to listen to people and another thing is when the people take ownership of your project and tell you what you have to do, but if the project fails later, who is going to have problems and may go bankrupt is the developer and not the one who believes he has good ideas and wants to improve the game based on his subjectivity and personal tastes. So people are mad at the only dev that has finished his game and did post content??

You are putting this into theoretical scenarios when there's no need, you can just examine the real example in front of you. No one asked or wanted this, a lot of people don't like this, it's taking an absurd amount of time to produce even though AI is doing all the heavy lifting. It's just pure milking. People wanted the other half of the game to actually exist, instead they got this because it's the easiest way for the dev to pretend to be busy. If this was any of the missing content done through AI you would not be seeing even 10% of this backlash.honestly, I find that AI/non-IA debate dry and useless.
my position on this is art from an AI trained on art pieces from artists unaware of that appropriation and not credited just to pump out thousands of pictures to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting consumers, either by selling galleries or games incorporating said art, should be shut down and sued to oblivion.
An artist training an AI on his own art and make manual correction on the AI product with the goal of streamlining the art of his own game and enhance his workflow to give content faster to the consumers is fine by me, especially if the original art is already existing and the artist don't steal/train on others, then, AI just become another tool of graphic design, much like a photographer touching up pictures of a marriage or another important life event.
the only thing I would frown upon is said artist becoming a lazy bum and churning new original content only using AI and even then, it still fine as long it's his art seeding the AI and we have no right to critique his production methods at that point.
if it's bothering you people, just vote with your wallet by not buying the game.
>Karryn's PrisonSo people are mad at the only dev that has finished his game and did post content??

Piracy is not stealing when will you people get it right? Piracy is it's own thing.some of these posters are so weird. the only thing they do other than cranking their meat is typing up dissertations on how they're getting cheated by devs they're stealing from anyway.
Only posting this 1 time, since it's off topic, but piracy IS a form of theft. It doesn't matter that there's no physical object taken, it's still someone's work not being paid for. A similar example is if you get a designer to make a logo for a business and they give you the files of the logo and you don't pay them, it's theft since you've taken their work without pay.Piracy is not stealing when will you people get it right? Piracy is it's own thing.
No I'm not arguing morality, I'm arguing semantics cause I'm a smartass don't @ me.
what?? who or what is yasan? do you mean yasu? if so 1 (does he have different names in other languages?), and he is human. or are you asking how many types of enemies are in the game?Small question, what enemies types of Yasan are?
Stealing definition "the action or offense of taking another person's property without permission or legal right and without intending to return it; theft." The last part is key, you can't return something that the original owner still has, hence, it becomes piracy. The law, piracy falls under, is copyright infringement. Here's another definition for theft : "The dishonest appropriation of property belonging to another with the intention to permanently deprive the other of it." Both definitions explicitly state you have to deprive the other person of the property to be classified as theft.Only posting this 1 time, since it's off topic, but piracy IS a form of theft.
Your example is weird, because it's still not stealing. The business didn't steal the files, once again that falls under different laws, I have no idea what because it's not simple copyright infringement. In this scenario, the business commissioned the designer, there was a contract between the two. For example, if the contract didn't state the designer would get paid, it would be perfectly legal, albeit immoral, that the business didn't pay for it. But if it was in the contract that the designer would get paid for it, then the business broke the contract. Breach of Contract law or something or other I dunno.A similar example is if you get a designer to make a logo for a business and they give you the files of the logo and you don't pay them, it's theft since you've taken their work without pay.
Yes, it does matter. Because it falls under a completely different definition if it's digital. Simply because when you steal something in real life, it doesn't leave a "copy", but if you pirate you don't "steal" you "copy" the original files. Unless you deprive the person of their property, it's not stealing. It's so simple really I don't get why people have to constantly equate piracy to stealing. It doesn't matter that there's no physical object taken, it's still someone's work not being paid for.
You can wipe everything besides the game links for this site and nothing of value would be lost.this thread could have the last 5 pages deleted and lose no valuable content.
What game?I work with ai and I can generate and automatically crop transparent pieces. I am using it to create items, enemies and even player characters for my game.
Sounds like a step backwards. Basically Meltys Quest 2.0? You'd think after making a battlefuck like this he'd improve and innovate upon it in the next game. Shame. So the dev wants to make the new game female protagonist RPG no battlefuck that's trying to punch up to an alicesoft title. Good luck. Im very worried but its not like I invested money into it yet Karryns prison still feels a bit underbaked.
