no, it's just terrible game design. you cannot ever go through the whole level by beating every room. your fatigue would be too high. so you can nearly never be strong enough for that. you literally have to sneak through rooms and only fight a room once to remove the door defender enemy who disappears then. terrible. prisoners you beat keep respawning, and the moment you can beat the whole level even with fatigue, you soon are lost because enemies are now gigascaled and you accumulated a tremendous amount of passives. if you win too much you get the sadistic/taunt tree passives which makes you definitely lose, and if you lose, well everyone knows what happens because you are going to lose in this game.
so it's punishing everyone and the blind farming is triple punished. how stupid is that? the more prisoners you beat the stronger you should be. yet somehow they - by drinking in the bar all day - get gigastrong... not you who beat 600 of them already singlehanded. how many ppl are in prison anyway? a whole city?!
Meanwhile I have saves, that are 100+ Days in and I beat the crap out of the Prisoners no problem. You see, yes Prisoners Level scales with you. But you get a lot and I mean a lot of things Prisoners don't. You know like a lot of % Bonuses to your Stats. Or a lot of Special Attacks. Or the ability to heal yourself. And so on and so on.
Also navigating rooms is for the most part super easy. Like the only rooms that come into mind, that has too many Prisoners walking around is probably Gym and the Basketball Court.
And for the Sadistic stuff, don't use Taunt. There you already will get less Sadistic Levels. Or make sure to never get an Orgasm from beating someone. Another Sadistic Level gone. And the idea if you win too much you lose, well just straight up bs.
Also use Edicts to weaken Prisoners, like with the Thug Problem. Never fight against Guards because that raises Guard Aggression which makes them stronger. I could go on but I am sure this will fall on deaf ears so imma stop now.
