Yeah taking away characters is a pretty dumb thing to do I really believe there should be a way to interact with them post-content because youre basically just taking away content, and as far as I am aware (its been awhile since I played the previous version) you still got access to her scenes(Bev)so her being takin away had very little effect I could be wrong though oh theres one more character I forgot to include in that lol
I super dislike not having access to Miki because I like her lol

So is it just a filler update? Just one-off fights, not even a “fun” minigame like with Enna/Bonnie or anything?
Liked the Verl content quite a bit, does anyone know if there's an game over or scene if she keeps stealing levels and stats?

it seems to be 35975 (it does give access to the penthouse) but there's no new content—just a room extension to the right. ig we gotta wait for a few more years to see the new stuff

To sum up the update
5-7 mobs, 1 scene each
3 very very incomplete boss fights with about 3 scenes each (no kneel, crawl,beg, mindbreaks, "stares" or seductions)
A lot of dialogue and wandering massive maps (filled with mobs)
-Removal of 5 characters after you complete the storyline

I wouldnt call it a filler update because its entirely focused on the main story, but it feels like filler content with the lack of....sense it all makes lol

Most of those characters had already been "removed" and at least three of them are confirmed to come back eventually.
I haven't played the update yet but there has to be something odd about complaining about a lack of content and also admitting to solely rushing through the main story.

Disagree, only miki was removed from the main story, Bonnie can hang out indefinitely if you progress her storyline and dont skip over her

tl;dr: I don't understand why people are praising the story when teary has only thrown some pieces of the puzzle at us with no proof that any of it will make sense by the end or be worthwhile.

hello friends, im a writer. not published just yet but i am quite good at it, i want to bring light to what teary has been doing. teary has good ideas, creative worlds etc. however, his ability to actually write an interesting story isnt great... he uses a technique that many "good writers" use, it makes you look genius despite actually only having good ideas. this technique makes use of suggestive writing, aka adding stuff that suggests interesting additions to the plot, but only if the fans link those things together. for example, we have reason to believe that the niht are linked with vhidna in some idiosyncratic way, this link made by her wine found in the mines. this Suggests, that she knows more than she leads on, however this may be the case. teary isnt skilled enough to actually link the 2 in a proper way. the fans come up with interesting ideas that are coherent from a narrative perspective, but teary's actual idea is much less interesting. he keeps things vague so that people will make their ideal story within the vagueness, when it actually gets revealed it usually disappointing. based on what ive seen in this thread, im assuming the new update is disappointing from a story perspective.
