Side question: what exactly is the 'Purple Mark' used for, or how is it used? I noticed it's not an actual item; it's a switch. I feel like it's something that should allow Dilan to continue meeting with Verl but I currently have no clue how.

normally youd need to meditate on an essence to use it

with purple mark you immediately have it available when changing element

Its pretty well hidden, there are some vines that let you cross the water in the southeast corner of Fair Poison.

Side question: what exactly is the 'Purple Mark' used for, or how is it used? I noticed it's not an actual item; it's a switch. I feel like it's something that should allow Dilan to continue meeting with Verl but I currently have no clue how.

Dilan seems to get it upon sleeping after a certain point in the story (I used a save that cleared all the content up to Peng) through a cutscene with Verl, after that it can be toggled on the same way the Krystal and Enchantress modes are (in tandem no less). To my best understanding, aside from acting as a general stat and level gain boost, it starts attracting Verl and Piknik again after you stick with it for a while, but the exact mechanics of the timer are kinda lost on me. I've had it trigger after lingering in a map a couple of minutes, and occasionally by passing time in class.

Side note, with Piknik's new interactions, Dilan being able to pet opponents should absolutely be a trend going forward <3


Did anyone find new events at Ayleen's? Apart from an odd dialogue from Dilan upon revisiting the library, it looks like some new switches and variables related to Ayleen were added

I *think* Verl's timer gets accelerated if you do battles, because I mostly seem to trigger her in the Lean mode after finishing a fight. But like everything else in the game it's probably needlessly obscure and a bit broken.

I don't think I saw a new event at Ayleen's other than the one with Indeed I mentioned before, so that may be an older thing. Will check out later if I can mess around with anything new there, though I tried interacting with a bunch of shit there during my Indeed tour de france.

Also, we can now pet Stone, so this is certainly a mechanic that will be greatly expanded in the future.


Unrelated, does Blossom have any real post-main stuff content? Because Verl and Peng obviously got it in the last patch, which also suppousedly "fixes" Blossom's, but I can't seem to trigger anything other than the ability to fight her again.
Similarly, does Passhy (that one fairy you fight exactly once in the main story, when followed by Stone and Indeed) disappear forever or is she somewhere?

So far we have option A of being a pawn for Valia, Dominic, Noo etc, just following whatever he is told. And now option B of being Verl's pet.

I guess we have to hold out for John to be the true hero at this point lmao.

I made a post a while ago about which characters seemed like they could be trustable but basically,

- Ayleen seems like she barely gives a shit anyways so, at least she's got that going for her
- Vhidna seemed trustable for a while but she's up to shady shit with Enna
- Occult club side characters seem Dom-aligned but otherwise nice
- Serpentine and company seem too stupid to plot THE BESTEST LEADERS FOR DILAN, HAIL SERPENTINE

Also after the last few updates I kinda believe that Dom's whole "I'm secretly an evil mastermind and they won't see me coming" thing went completely off the rails the moment he saw Dilan holding Walter's head. Like from the last pages in the diary and his general demeanor it feels like he realized that he's not built for this life even if he's still got some plot cooking

The map was in there before, just that it's getting story relevance/updates now.

Isnt it just a new boost? You have the crystal form etc and you have elements you can channel to use magic. I think based on the description its just a boost ontop of those two while adding new skills the more you use it?

I mean on a semi-canon level Dilan already knows that Dom is bullshitting him. You can talk to Jake about Dom's diary, so Dilan knows and frankly doesn't seem to care much.

I'm sure there'll be an eventual confrontation and big reveal or whathever, I just think we're past him being the psychotic menacing threat that he once seemed to be. Won't predict much more than that.

We're still getting the femboydom content eventually so he's gotta fuck us at some point

Gives more context about what happened with Akuaki but I wonder how this will play out in future scenarios.

how do i get to the remaining key pieces that are behind the locked doors in the basement in vhidna's new house? i've searched all over and i cant seem to find the key for those two doors and i can't find anything to interact with to open them and vhidna is sleeping too in the basement
