Good day to everyone. The problem with the quest is the beginning of the third ritual. Dominic said Vala was waiting, then John called and had a conversation before school with two drug addicts who suspected that the hero was dating the girlfriend of one of them. Then at night I come to the witch, but there is no conversation, I don't know what to do? The next night, nothing happens either.

Is this for version 0.098FF since it doesnt work for me, if anyone knows the code for 0.098FF it would be appreciated
This code should work for that version, wouldn't recommend it though because the gallery got updated in the new release:
Seems it didn't get updated but it's useful anyway, some guy posted it before me I think but anyways.

Here's the steps for the gallery:
  1. Press L
  2. Choose "The KittyBox"
  3. Choose "Redeem Code"
  4. Input 35975
  5. Choose "Penthouse"
  6. Enjoy

The difficulty really goes haywire after Ayleen huh? I beat her first try, but Miki and Maven are something else. The latter just two shots me.
Crafting/buying equipment will help, as will levels. Theres a tall girl in the woods to the right of blossy (south of vaila, then right, towards the top left of the woods iirc) that gives you 3 levels every time you fight her. For weapons, I recommend something that can stun. Violettish scepter (magentia stone, debilitative drop, tree root) took me pretty far and eventually darkened violet (same recipe + raw crystal stone wave and weak niht's essence) carried me through the rest of the fights in the game. The Verdanean roots skill you get from I think the fouslets essence (or maybe losing the fight?) is also quite helpful. Besides that, check back on the blacksmith to see if you've unlocked new recipes for equipment crafting every now and then.

This game has quite a few major bugs. For now, in Miss Macky's story, when I have to hand in the assignment, it won't let me open the door or exit, and it gets stuck.
And Beverly doesn't even appear. I don't know if they removed her or what, but I've looked for her every day, at all times, both at the fountain on the right and the left, and where Dixie is, that area with benches, and nothing.
Are these real bugs, or is Beverly no longer in the game and am I doing something wrong with Macky?

The side girl routes can be temperamental, i've personally had issues with completing Caroline's missions in the past but never has an issue with Macky if i'm following the guide.

All I can really recommend is, if you're not already, try to follow the guides word for word when completing their quests and hopefully you will get them to trigger.

If all else fails, at least for now, you can view all the scenes in the gallery should you wish to see them.

Thanks for the advice, but I've been following the guide with Beverly's (I've had the wrong person before, but Caroline's hasn't given me any problems before). I don't know, but I've even tried decompiling the game and starting over with Macky's, but it always gets stuck on the installment.

Where is the gallery? How do I access it?

Here ya go:
The penthouse still works, you just have to put in the new code. It even has the new character scenes now.
  1. Open Cellphone
  2. Select The Kitty Box
  3. Select "Redeem Code"
  4. Enter new code (57680)
  5. Click Penthouse
  6. Enjoy

I tried this game years ago, really liked the concept, but was quickly turned off by the bugs (I personally got locked out of a few characters/scenes/routes because of bugs). I decided to let it lie and try back in the future in the hopes that the Teary would release bug fixes as the game was developed.

What's the general consensus, is the game in a good (playable) spot at the moment? Or has Teary focused on publishing new content rather than fixing the old (perusing the last few pages have hinted at the answer, but... I'll ask anyways). I saw someone mention following the provided guide word for word... that just sounds dreadful to me. I like bumbling my way through games and experiencing them at their fullest. The idea that I would need to follow a guide so as to not break simple mechanics and encounters... is a real turn-off. Is the situation that dire?

The game's got some bugs, but it's far from the worst it has ever been. I think that Macky is the only character that really requires a guide to know what the hell you're suppoused to do. Everyone else, and the main story, should be entirely playable without having to follow a guide.

I wouldn't call it dire. If you focus entirely on the main story, you'll probably beat the game without encountering a bug as of the current update.

Beverly and Caroline are buggy too but I agree, it's mostly in a fine state ATM.

Good luck, genuinely.
From what I gather, he interacts there about as much as he does here, or even on his patreon. ie once in a blue moon. I can't fully confirm, as I'm not in that discord guild. So take that as you will.

Can confirm. Even when he does show up and talk he'll basically say nothing about his end of the things

Teary did say in that one patreon post that he's not going to communicate until significant progress has been made, and who knows when that'll be, so expect no words from him until like, next year
