V0.096 Report&Preview
Hi, the update is in the next days, I'm a bit late again.
This version includes 2 Mobs, the Remakes of Vhidna, some scenes, fixed/tweaked Macky's Routes, the fixed Main Story, and other misc/side stuff alongside some base changes; I may be forgetting some other things rn but it's not much different than what I previously reported. I did want to finish more hence why I'm late.
The full changelog with explanations will be in the release post.
As said before, this 1st test version is mainly to have a Stable; once this test version is deemed as such I'll start adding the next stuff, and hopefully be done with 0.096 as a whole soon after.
This is the last report on this version, the next post will be the Release one.

saw that branches were added to interlude. does this mean old saves will be broken? if so does anyone have a save with everything done right b4 interlude?

Not really, as long as a save was done before a pathway choice was made it should have no problem using old saves, You can even save the child from being decapitated.

so then a save after the interlude will have just some default choices made then? hopefully thats for the best route

Anyone else having issues with Macky Route? I skipped class 27 times & slept through 18 & now I am stuck at being told to stop skipping classes with the same scene being repeated over & over.

same here, I think it's cuz we're using old saves, but fuck it I'm too disappointed with the game to restart it just to check whether that's the case or not

im hopeing its just the saves that are bugged so ill restart
but

bugs ive encountered
crawling to bonnie - turns you invis - soft lock
miki - when you lose to her (if she has elevel drain) the scene just repeats infinity - soft lock (yup miki freezes the game even on a new save)
if you pick her elevel drain from menu it just turns the screen black and makes the draining noise - soft lock
menu changelog - errors the game

note : my saves after interlude dont even show up when trying to load, the saves before interlude do (which is why I think the saves arent an issue)

started a new save - cant seem to the interlude part to activate (after you beat bonnie)
also when teleporting to the shop another softlock -as soon as you teleport the shopkeeper just repeats "whos wish is that" and youre unable to exit it

I mean Teary released a patch within a day that fixed 6+ things, IDK how we out here bashing them for not bugfixing when several came within such a short period. Hope he keeps it up and resolves all the issues within a short time period.

That being said, hopefully he can stick to the promised monthly schedule now.

I will probably wait a little longer before diving in but I hope that Teary feels satisfied AND that things work with respect to what's been redrawn/reworked, and that the mechanics are all in place for the story so things move forward without a bunch of painful back and forth in the future.

I do agree somewhat with you, but until I can play a whole game through properly without a game-breaking bug I'll still be a little sour.
