its been awhile since I have played Katalist but I recall seeing (via Mtools) that Bonnie is listed as an amalgamation, there was also several different states for Bonnie, so I dont think it was Bonnie at all manipulating Dilan, at least not intentionally it appears she is more so a host for something
as for the paths, ultimate they change absolutely nothing (except wether the one kid lives or die) other than that theres no point to it
Teary has added alot of lore and side stuff that goes absolutely nowhere so I wouldnt dwell too much on it
Edit: You also shouldnt expect the update to come out anytime soon, especially if youre relying on the word of a single paypig

It definitely was Bonnie manipulating The MC if you go the warmth path.. not only does she control what happens to the kid if you disobey her but she also possesses the MC after Walter attacks him in the dorm, pretty much protecting Dilan… it’s different if you go on the cold or secret route… she also acts strange/like she knows what’s going on when you mention what’s happening.. so yeah those three paths are definitely different in a sense and will be even more so after version 1

I always love the use of addiction/hypnosis mechanics in games I really hope it leads to escalating consequences (going from light femdom to heavy femdom)
Edit I also see he possibly added a group mechanic aswell, which I absolutely despise lol
