Alright, what seems to be the most "complete" version for the game?
Demo is out up to end of chapter 2, the download at first page says it's revised until chap 5 but apparently there was a version up to chapter 7? I'm so confused

Probably the most content is in the latest Patreon build. It goes up to the beginning of chapter 6.

IMO that is just a welcomed excuse to not deliver anything now and/or to punish all supporters for something the internet is just known for.

IMO that is just a welcomed excuse to not deliver anything now and/or to punish all supporters for something the internet is just known for.

Yeah I loved that they basically said 'in order to protect our feelings we're going to remove basically any reason for anyone to give money to us to complete it', and because the furry community are not exactly known for the financial restraint they still get money.

That kind of pissed me off as a pateon supporter of theirs for years (yes I'm financially irresponsible) that I was being punished through them removing early access as a perk.

I Didn't care at all the builds were leaked. Why? Because I wanted to give money to them to support them making the game, as hiring all the people to make it probably wasn't cheap.

They justified it as removing work from them to patch up unfinished builds which were constantly published with gamebreaking bugs, so in theory not releasing anything to the public speeds up game development.

But that's comedy gold coming from a team who's taken nearly 13 years from conception to release (roughly) just over half of a game. They'd take their time no matter what.

I await the game eagerly though even if just through sunk cost fallacy. Plus, I actually really liked it. I just wish I could have been playing it in 2016 and be enjoying its promised sequels here in 2025....

What Kemo Coliseum coulde've been without the feature/chapter creep:

• Straight forward Mortal Kombat ladder tournament mode
• First character being Volga
• Every win/loose being a different NSFW scene with Volga/opponent
• Go grazy with additional unique playable characters with different playstyles and even more scenes on their routes
• Short VN stuff between fights, flesh the characters out there
• optional events/minigames e.g. in the bathhouse
• no dungeon crawling or fighting mobs
• no lenghty quests
• no big RPG progression and skill system, keep it concise/tight

Make the game interesting via it's gameplay loop, NSFW and not with chapters of story. Make new content easy to fit and deploy for the supporters to be giddy about.

Let's not forget they could threaten the community to drop their game if it wasn't for the money they're getting. I'm grateful they still keep the project up after all this time and double-edged decisions. I won't complain so long as they don't stomp on their own work, I haven't given a single dime to them but I spent a lot of time playing their game. Hell, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat when it comes out if it's more or less what I've already seen from it (there's very little games from the furry community I'd actually recommend lmao).

They said times and times they want to make a "good enough game" for them, and maybe down the line it motivates other devs to make even better ones, with less shenanigans in the dev process. For those who give money to any dev/studio, do not forget : you are paying people, not products. You should support good devs and good practices, rather than splurge because you wanna date your fav husbando (invest in fanart for that, it gives you plenty freedom !).

Again, let us hope for a soon enough release (I think they said somewhere early 2026 ?).

Chapter 6, while finished for development team, IS NOT available right now for supporters. There is no plan for a release date as we want to focus on finishing the game. If we decide to release it, we will do it when we are ready.

I recall I read something about them wanting to release 1.0 in (end of) 2025 and I immediately called BS. Even if they release 1.0 by early 2026 I'd be surprised of it's gonna be feature complete (all planned NSFW scenes , dates etc.).

That would be the more likely option #2 IMO as well. But this amount of goalposting and willingness to blow promises into the wind would be even harder for them to pull off PR wise. I mean the bigger consensus should shifting at some point, right?

And regarding old stuff, they cooked the latest patreon build with a CG which looks like Raccoon21 made it before anything else.

Played the demo, got hooked, went to their patreon page to see whether there is more to play, sounded to me like there's more, couldn't find anything, came here to find out their scummy moves even though I was ready to pay for their patreon to continue playing. They're never receiving my money now, even when the full version is released

They've been taking people's money for this game's development for over a decade now. Its actually kind of unbelievable they have the audacity to get mad about leaks. Supposedly, the game is in the final stages of development and I hope they game can live up to the ten year hype its dragged along.

tbh the fact this game took a decade is alr crazy enough, but to just say "yeah we are just getting leaked, we wont do builds soon even tho you ppl are what pay for to begin with", yeah this is nothing but an excuse for not having to worry to post builds, its kinda idk, i really hope this game gets actually finished before 2030 lol

They are showing more content being added (not that it's more per say, just we see it more clearly) and they are also discussing the actual end of the game (chapters 7-9). The chapter 7 is fully implemented in the latest build they made (supposedly) so they are picking up the pace from last years, when they were just saying they're "reworking" stuff from before.

I know it's going to be a good game, I wish the devs would simply not beat around the bush !...

I can positively tell you that they did not implement chapter 7 for supporters yet. And content behind closed doors or in internal builds is no content released/available to play/check. I could tell you everything on reports and make me look great like that. It's nice they release reports (it's something at least) but I would not take that as solid facts they're hustling on or on time etc. Development time is measured with releases to consumers after all. The last patched build was released december 2024. The last content update was in may 2024.
We don't know if they completey stopped the reworks.

Today, I'm more reserved about them after they closed the Itch forum in a fit, stopped releasing supporter builds adn overall became defensive.
I am pro hype but when it is reasonable though.

They have to the surprise of nobody confirmed that the game won't be ready until 2026 (and even that is VERY optimistic). But the good news is that 1) the game still will only require a $3 one time Patreon subscription to get the latest updates 2)there will be a new Patreon build in December with a lot of content updates up to Chapter 7, so that's nice!
