Yeah this is why im sick and tired of even bothering looking at the forums most of the time, stupid people who know nothing complaining about stupid things.

All you idiots and trolls who whine and complain saying dumb things like "there hasn't been any updates", "been years since any animations" when you're straight up lying because there hasn't even been that much time for even animations let alone all the other work needed and you have LITERALLY no idea what's involved in making games.

Not to mention a lot of these people making these games actually have you know... actual lives to live and probably are doing normal work as well as developing their games, BUT noooo you guys need to get your porn fix, we can't possibly actually have a GOOD GAME we just want your run of the mill shitty RPGM game with slight animatons or stills because we want our porn fix right now.

While I certainly will agree that Jasonafex has been a shitshow of development and we'll probably never see the end of it and yes there are PLENTY of shitty developers out there and wouldn't be surprised about developers who basically purposely do barely any development to string along patreon subs.

But when you got something like kincaid that has a lot of effort and work put into it and will actually be a game, you're just being petty and stupid for acting like this.

i see that the discussion about the "enemies initating sex" change was brought up again... how are you guys still so bothered by the change? i thought that by now people would've moved on and followed other games or just bit the bullet and accepted that the game changed.

It was a pretty divisive change given it was the default state of the game for a long while. Plenty of early adopters liked it that way. Even the devs recognized as much while implementing the change.

So I'll pose an even better question unto you: why not both? No, seriously, if the fear of getting Thanos snapped off of Patreon for non-con wasn't the reason for the complete switch over to explicitly consensual player initiated fucking, why not both?

Now you have sex for both the win and fail states (ideally with unique text reflecting as much if they don't want to have separate sets of animations) in your sextroidvania and the maximum amount of your playerbase satisfied.

my keyboard is ROG STRIX FLARE still doesnt work in Kincaid, actually a played this game before with same keyboard.

but after downloading new version i cant actually run game

i tried to use my Sony DualSense Wireless Controller for ps5 but i dont know how to use this gamepad for games other than steam.

I removed all appdata files and still have this issue.

Can't help you with the rest, but at least for my Dualshock 2 I use DS4Windows to make it work on PC with ANY game that has support for a controller.

Edit: I see now from the conversation that it wasn't clear what kind of content you are initializing ^^ We will add another warning with the next update.

I want to understand the players expectation better and make the game more clear. Since I make the game I know exactly what's going to happen and everyone who testplayed it knew from updates what we were working on, so I'm unsure how a player who didn't look at it will react to the situation.

What were your expectations going into the scene? Was it unclear that they are both male? Or did you expect Kincaid to be "in the middle"? Or did you not expect the scene to start at all?

I'd be happy about anyone who wants to answer ^^

it was blurry but i noticed the pic for the bosses orb attack being labeled taint projectile, what kinda taint are we talking? noticed mentioning high kobold focus, any chance the player could end up turned into one somehow? mentioned as a humorus comment along the lines of kobolds stealing the game. sorry if makes no sense im ill atm.

Only the first planet has that high kobold focus! ^^ Transformation is beyond the scope of the game unfortunately as I'd have to redraw every player animation for a new character.

The other thing I can't spoil yet ^^

So a quick note before the devlog: When trying to copy the patreon post here, every image broke immediately. It seems no matter how I do it, only the text gets copied.

In the past it was possible to just take it from one place to another. This time I uploaded the images manually, but if the issues doesnt get fixed in the forum, I think I'll just upload the text here and link to the patreon post instead. ^^
