Holy moly! The artwork combined with the gameplay in this game! If only I had a solid income to support these lads... 
TBH I don't know if you can trust the people subbed to your patreon and on your discord to be unbiased. That being said you should be more catering to the people supporting your game financially, so if a majority of people on your patreon want the change then do it. Myself I am more a fan of bad ends, so even the current version doesn't really do that and honestly the change fits better with the CGs as none of them have ever felt like a game over scene.
Ok after seeing the prototype, I do think it fits more with the cgs. The only thing I could suggest to maybe make those that don't like the change to maybe calm down would maybe be to make at least the bosses able to grapple her and maybe give it an actual bad end if you lose the fight. Not saying you should or anything, just the only suggestion I could think of.
I do not like the changes unless it offers both.
I was just stating it was the only suggestion I could think of to please both sides of the aisle. I am not an artist or a programmer, but I know it would be more work, which is why I said I wasn't saying they should do it, was just the only suggestion I could come up with.

It would interest me, what is the suggestion of the people here?
I mean without going back to the old way (let's call the old on option A and the new one option B).
It seems, the (only) problem with the new system is, that it don't feel (dominant/rapey) from the monsters anymore, am i right?
Questions 1.
What could/should be added, that option B is okay for ya? (What ideas do you have/wish without going back to option A)
Question 2.
How could Option B evolves, that it included the "needs" of everyone? (Kind of like B+creating C.)
The devs did always appeared here from the beginning and was always communicative.
That's why i think, returning the favor and be constructive instead of bullying is the right way here.
Just my 2 cents.
