Good day all,

I thought it prudent to post a develoment thread to keep track of proposals, development and feedback of a game I'm currently working on (first time build so be gentle!).

It's going to be a HTML game using real porn (my PC is shockingly bad so rendering is out for the foreseeable future).

Having played a variety of games posted on F95, I always liked the idea of building one, so thought why not? So out of the dust filled landscape of my cranium, came King of College.

Synopsis:

You play as an orphan who, about to finish seniort year at High School, the most prestiguous private school in the world, and you'll soon be off to a even more prestigious college with your fellow seniors to stay at your deceased Father's old fraternity.

Before exams, you are the victim of a prank by your so-called friends, which results in a horrific accident for you. Months later, finally released from Hospital, you find a letter from your father, informing you of the circumstances around his death. Armed with that knowledge, and access to your fathers old files and experiments, you set out to seek revenge on your Fraternity brothers and the people who were responsibly for your fathers death, and the only way to do that is become the King of College.


Gameplay:

The game will be a two branch, sandbox style. The "main" a transformation/sissifcation of male (non-protagonist) characters by the protagonist. The "secondary" a hetero domination of female characters. Hopefully offering players the best of the both worlds so to speak.

Navigation and Gameplay Mechanisms now both 100% complete.

Phone UI added to sidebar, with messaging and "social media" complete too.

wow, not bad. I love how you did the phone UI. I've been also working on own HTML sandbox game for 2 months, and I didn't even get past the intro yet. I want to do something like that for my game, but I'm still learning (from zero) all this HTML/Twine/Sugarcube/JS stuff.

Heh, no worries, my game will be more classic, and also completely aimed towards gay men so we won't compete lol.

Where can I download it?
Hi, currently I haven't posted anything up for Download yet.
I think soon, I will post a demo that is the intro and maybe the first couple of events for feedback if possible.
However, I have written most of the Story points for an extended timeline, and have been making sure that the gameplay mechanics suit the forward compatability for future updates.

i.e I don't want people to have to play through again because I've added something new, I'm hopeful that every update should allow for past saves to work, but that's taking time to make sure I get it right early.

I'd like to think the DEMO should be out within a month.

June '21 Update:

Story lines all complete now, with the decision made to include additional characters now totalling 28 to accomodate the story.
As a result, I've had to incorporate new locations and also refine the gameplay mechanics to allow for this.
I have all the images stacked and ready for the stories, and I have the intro and early introduction of the first female character complete.

Hopefully once the Demo is completed, the game should progress rather quickly as I will have completed the core and shell of the game allowing the story to be written without any compatability issues moving forward.

Have you been able to continue this since the previous update?
There's been a few hiccups in terms of the progression system. I could have ignored it and fixed at a later point when it will become relevant. However, I'd rather get it fixed now for ease moving forward, so as it stands I'm currently re-plotting the gameplay mechanisms.

From what you have here, the game looks pretty damn cool! It's good that you're putting in a lot of work to make a demo with substantial content. I think that commitment will pay off and should get you some early adopters! Good luck! Looking forward to playing it!

UPDATE: Seriously underestimated what I needed to do and that's my fault.

Need to construct a functioning messaging system, along with some redesign of layouts to accommodate the story.

Unfortunately, this is going to take longer than I exepcted in terms of releasing something but I steadfast refuse to release something that isn't working (or won't work in the future- I'm hoping I won't have any save issues) and I won't release something that doesn't have content.

I'm probably one to two months away from achieving what I'd be comfortable in releasing.

It's alright, take your time. It took me almost 10 months to even start my dev thread, and my game far from being close to what I could call an proper launch here yet.

Keep in mind that on these threads, people can play, test and give you suggestions. They are doing wonders on my dev log thread.

BETA (Version 0.1)

Test version of King of College.

WARNING: Trap/Shemale content unavoidable.

I think I have completed all the pathways for navigation and gameplay and I've already implemented all the proposed characters and stats.

You'll find a lot of links etc allowing to set characters levels up as it's still a work in progress. There's also a lot of image optimizing I need to address, but it's quite a scope and I do want to use gifs, so the file size is quite big because it already contains a lot of "endgame" content already written and coded.

Likewise, this current version only has the "trans" intro, I'm debating on whether to allow full gameplay without any trans content, which shoud be relatively easy if neccessary.

There is only one character with story at the moment, Meadow.

TIPS:
If it isnt' clear I apologise, but here are a few quicktips:-

Phone:
- Click the clock to advance time, when it shows "Zzz" you can click to automatically sleep and wake up in your bed.
- Click the "mc's name" to automatically go to the map.
- Once a character is unlocked and reaches Level 1, you can click her on "contacts" to start her "training".

- Style.
- Layout.
- Intro.
- Ease of use.
- Overall potential story.

Hey enjoyed the game and think it is solid premise for story and want to see first official release.

But there is some feedback:
- Pass time/Zzz icon is so small that if i would not read it that it exist i would not notice it. Same goes for the opening the map. Would recomed making two more buttons in the phone for it like for Contacts,Invetory ....
- Teachers lounge gives a error on new page (" Error: the passage "TEACHERSLOUNGE" does not exist ")
- Very little content to do atm for testing after getting to the "open world" (ending after the frist dose of Meadow with "double click to eddit this passage")
- When look into contacts you see from the start poeples profiles already transformed. Would be good at the start to have there the basic face of the persons there and change it when you change them
- I liked the intro even tho i hope in the future the transformation/Sisification will be slower in the future
- I like the premise of the story it gives you a lot of possibilities what to do with invidual people which is always good and it is really easy and basic to follow

And thats all that comes to mind after finishing it few moments ago.

- Content - That's correct, I wanted to make sure the game "worked" within it's format before loading content.
- Contacts - Good idea, I'll get on to it.
- Future transformation - Yes, that's the idea.
