Content-wise, this rides a very fine line for me since the "consent" aspect is really hanging by a thread--at least in the early parts--but the writing and incredibly hot artwork save it. I dunno why, but I also think the whole orc thing is hot. There are some endings that are dark as all hell, but as this game definitely leans into the grimdark side of high fantasy you can't expect all sunshine and flowers.

- As a general rule, I personally don't care for a lot of gameplay, particularly with the constraints that this game has (timed events, combat, multiple branches), but ymmv

While I thought I would have fallen off earlier since I generally want a much more "click to cum" experience, this game really drew me in with its setting and really hot art and situations.

"Noxian Nights" was a great game. "Kingdom of Deception" was also a great game at first, but in the last couple of years the DEV hasn't been warking hard. The terms of updates are excessively delayed, and there is not much content. It seems that DEV is just bored to make the game, there is no inspiration, and he just earns money. However, it's still Hreinn Games, so 4/5.

Kingdom of Deception is without a doubt one of the sexiest/best adult game out there. Filled with potential and eager to do more, this game feels like a volcano waiting to explode... But sadly, this volcano will take years to erupt and shows it's true potential.

Pros:
+ Story/lore: The story is very intriguing and compelling. it always grabs your attention. The lore is rich and detailed, and you will always find yourself wanting to know more.

+ The Art: This is the main meat of the game. The art is drawn in a sexy and meaty way, it's just delicious! Plus it gives the game it's own unique and distinctive look/style. All and all, the artwork here is simply mouth-watering good!

+ Main Character: Sabia is a busty arrogant sexy bitch who thinks she's superior to any race, but all that will change once she arrives in Grak og Dar. Betrayed by her own family, Sabia is willing to sacrifice and do anything; to fulfill her own revenge quest.

+ Side characters: Every side character is different and unique to one another, and all of them have a huge role to play in the story.

+ Meaningful Choices: The impact of choices in this game is unreal. Every action you do will have consequences, So tread carefully.

+ Writing: the quality of writing here is very solid. it's always detailed and on spot.

+ Puzzles: The game doesn't feature many puzzles, but it is fun and pose a little bit of a challenge.

Cons:
- Combat System: The combat here is average at best, it lacks depth and quality. It serves it's purpose, and gets the job done.

- Stamina Management: It's painfully agonizing. Sabia gets tired for doing the simplest of things, and sometimes I think the devs are doing it on purpose, just to extend the length of the grind.

- Hampered development: There's no denying that the game suffers heavily from it. The devs have an abysmal communication with their fanbase, constantly lie about improving and they lack transparency. This is inexcusable behavior, they need to change. Otherwise, this will harm the game more than anything.

- Soundtrack: It feels like nitpicking, but the game has been out for almost 4 years now, so it could use some new soundtracks to refresh things up.

- walkthrough/Guide: There's no way you will be able to finish the game without a guide, unless you play carefully and have a good tracking of what you're doing, and still the chances are high that you will end up missing some scenes.

To be honest, my critical side wants to give this a 4 out of 5, but I can't deny that my pervy side loves this game so much that I will end up giving it a full 5 stars. With it flaws, I still think this is one of the best adult games I have ever experienced.

This game has received an unhealthy dose of hate, just take a look those whining virgins below my post. After reading their reviews and wondering why this game had mostly an excellent reviews I decided to give it a try.

In short the plot is racist female goes native to have her revenge. The background story is that humans have won racial supremacy war and almost genocided orcs out of existence. The MC gets captured and starts plotting to gain power.

Unlike any other game this doesn't have a log nor any assistance where to go next. Either you need to have a very good memory or make some notes, if you hate this save yourself and don't bother this game. If it is okay, well then you will have an adventure of your life.

There is plenty of explore and to do. This is my first time with this game and the only trouble I had was finding a resting place (your green tent is behind other tents). Plot goes forward very smoothly and you have plenty of options to choose: whole lives, who dies, to lie or not, and to do whore yourself or not. Everything has their own consequences. What I like this game specially is that you do not have to prostitute yourself to advantage in plot or get sex scenes, there are plenty of them not depending do you like to bang orcs or not. Some of them are more difficult to get, so if you want to have them all either use walktrough or gallery mod.

This game also has a combat system which is fairly easy to learn. Characters and world is well written, there is no too much text and plot makes sense. If you want to have an sexy adventure and you fetishes hard interracial sex, what are you waiting for?

The game that does not let you to play without guide is a bad game.
If devs want to let player make choices they should be at least approximately equal and not like "this a bad choice / this is the worst choice which leads to the end of the game / this is the best choice which gives everything, alt tab to walkthrough to pick this one"
Plus the beginning of the game where you have to play exatly as walkthrough says literally step by step not to miss the time gate, it is very annoying

I was a huge fan of their first game Noxian Nights which I loved dearly. But this game suffers from various problems imo.

The whole beginning is a bit off to me, and just throws you into a mix of a weird scene with possibility to end in various ways, really odd start. And same goes for the main protagonist you play, She is a über slut from the very beginning and just fucks everything that walks on 2 or 4 legs!

For gameplay I'm not finding it very enjoyable and fun at all.
Its clear this is their first game on renpy, and imho it shows.

The art and scenes are however top tier - Could perhaps mention some angels could show a bit more or the girls, they are sometimes cut off.

Reason for the 3 stars is mostly because of the artwork is good and because Im a huge fan of their first game, else I would properly have given them 2.

This game has a shit ton of unique xxx scenes, and the story is engaging and new. It also has a lot of choices. Your choices actually matter.

The reason as to why this game gets 3 stars instead of 5, is that you NEED a guide to finish it.

This is a fantastic game, the story is a good old fashioned revenge story with a ton of sex and orcs. The art is fantastic and there is a ton of it. There are also a ton of events which are all unique from each other. Although the orcs seem to look the same, each have a different personality from the next.
My favorite aspect of this game is the choices, you can go the submissive route or the dominant route which is great. Each route is completely different from the other.

My only concern is that without a guide, it was rather hard to play.

this game has it all..rape..orcs..orcs raping..dominance submission..elf girl..cat girls..magic an orcs raping every one they can..and a great story about revenge and just how far one gal will go to get it.

All subjective here:

Pros:
- really well paced story
- good corruption setting
- has a walkthrough

Cons:
- devs are relatively slow compared to other games I have seen
- some events are not easy to see through and without walkthrough I could not finish them (might also be because I am stupid idk)

I used to play this game every time it got updated, but unfortunately, recently that has started to change due to these reasons: firstly, Hrein Games built this interesting, expansive world that at first glance encourages you to explore the rather vast map that they have created. However, the exploration of it is severely hindered by unnecessary timed events. Timed events suck in general, yet here they are even worse since they essentially force you on a narrow, rigid path, negating all the benefits of having an open world.
The second issue, somewhat related to the first, is the fact that it is becoming increasingly difficult to play this game without a step by step walk-trough. This, to me, immediately makes the game average at best, since I am not playing, merely shutting of my brain and clicking buttons whilst watching the scenes. Difficulty is an interesting topic in gaming, however I genuinely do not believe that there should ever be a game, especially an adult one, where the player is forced to use a walk trough.
Lastly, a quick one, the scenes are essential for a game like this, yet the deterioration of image quality in the recent updates makes me concerned for what the future of this game will look like.

Overall 3/5, this game definitely had potential to be one of the greatest on this site, yet due to the, potentially, over-ambitious 3 paths, the unnecessarily complex game play and deteriorating image quality, I do not believe that this will be the case in the future.
*edit, this game is also a bit more basic (vanilla) in terms of kinks when compared to their previous work (this is only personal preference though).

P.S I really liked Noxian Nights and a remake of that game, with the same scene quality, would be sick.

Kingdom of Deception was off to a good start, with a choice of different paths to lead you towards the same goal. More and more the game seems to have been falling into the trap of giving too many paths to follow, and thus leaving none satisfying. And it is understandable. If the main story progresses too fast, it runs the danger of players not wanting to restart to find the new side content. But with too much side content, development gives the impression of stalling, as a lot of what is added distracts from story progression.
The game still has a lot of potential and can lead to a satisfying ending, but it runs the danger of getting lost on the way.

Seeing as this is still rated so highly the only thing that can come to mind is it is not as popular as it once was so only the fans have reviewed it. This game before the last 2-3 updates was a solid 4/5 star game. Sabia was fun to play as, either a dominating bitch or a submissive slut. The quest and stories were not to demanding and required little effort to complete. This game has gone to hell since then, from a new art style to the constant delays the devs have to go through. Quest which absolutely made no sense and were only possible to complete with a walk through.
Why has this game collapsed? Unfortunately i think it might have to do with over ambition, the devs have 3 different sabias, dominant, submissive or neutral. All those scenes must be drawn at least 2. Plus Sabias allies could be different. This doesn't even mention that the artists and writers also have to write in more monsters so you ain't just seeing sabia take orc dick the whole game. Not just those demands but demands for Neve scenes as well.
I can't be too harsh on this game as I feel the devs have unfairly stacked the amount of work required for this game against themselves. I understand if someone grades it harsher then a 3...

Together with Third Crisis my favorite sex game (and I tried hundreds by now).

- Whats good:

- Very sexy good looking art and MC. Great tits, great cumshots, great bodies, sexy poses.
- Hot themes: Submission (domination also possible), rape, slave, humiliation, BDSM, gang bang, monster
- Plays very fast and easy, with minimum grind and fighting
- Gets new content every now and then

- What is not good:

- You really NEED the walkthrough to get all scenes. You need to speak to the right people (orcs) in the right order, wearing the right clothes, sleeping in between and choosing exactly the right options in certain order.

If you just play this on your own feeling with no walkthrough you will miss at least half the scenes.

If you dont mind tabbing between walkthrough and the game, it really is one of the VERY best games on this site.

This has been an immensely enjoyable game. Much more story than most, but with enough bouts of gameplay to be interesting. Good if you're a fan of a game that takes things slow, and rewards careful reading.
Come for the sex, stay for the political intrigue.

This fantasy world of the game is great. Protagonist is a badass chick and other characters are authentic as well. Artwork is beautiful. Story is interesting and well written. Theres a little fantasy management stuff but nothing rpgm. Lewd scenes are not animations but they are ok.

This review shares my thoughts and opinions about Kingdom of Deception [v0.9.3].

For the longest time I avoided writing a review, because a few updates ago many others shared my thoughts, but now I feel that I really want to express my opinon on KoD.
Please be aware that I may spoil some content!!
Story and Storytelling [3/5]: First of all the devs created their own lore for this game. I think it's amazing and the maps and told history ingame sound really natural and convincing. So we got our female MC, a higher ranking military official, ending up in an orc camp, because she lost her troops in an orc ambush, by rogue orcs. Without money, armour or weapons you can't leave the orc camp and worst of all you suspect your family setting you up. Here starts Sabias story. Now it's up to you, if you want to meddle in the tribe politics, or stay out of it. If you want to stay strong infront of every captain or follow some of their unreasonable commands.
Personally I really like the storytelling in Kod, but since the least two updates, I have problems following the quests. All the places you can visit now are not that clearly structured. Sometimes you need to visit every damn place at the right time in the story to progress the quests. In my opinion they implemented the human citys to early. I don't know if they let patreons have a say in the story progress, but they probably need to follow some wishes in upcoming scenes and shape it around that.
Characters[5/5]: I like all charakters in Kod, period. Neve is witty, strong and fucking hot. Lutvrog is the manliest orc in the whole tribe and right in his mind. The captains are, well, fitting in their own intrest. The tribal chief is wise. Our most beloved Jadk always happy and with a helping hand. He definitly needs a scene. The catgirls are there (I don't mind them much). Sometimes I feel that the shaman is written poorly. The scenes with him feel not that great either. In my opinion it doesn't fit right in the story. And last but not least Sabia. She is not perfect ond very egoistic. It's nice that she has her own flaws and opinions. About the Dom and Sub stats: I think the idea is nice and I played through the game more than three times, trying different paths. Dominant, mixed and submissive. My personal opinion is, that the scences with Sabia being submissive are very well written, but they don't fit to the rest of the story. It's like the game progresses with a mostly dominant Sabia, but all her scences play out like a sub/slut. Sometimes she reacts submissive, but not all the time. Of course they use the same cut-scenes with dominant and submissve, when progressing the story.
On the other hand, when playing dominant or mixed, the story works well with the scenes.
The huge problem is, that it's probably impossible to write two seperate storys for Sub and Dom. With all other aspects and progress, it would get so confusing that the devs couldn't cope with it anymore.
I just think that a submissive Sabia doesn't really fit with the game and to constrain that sub path in the game gets harder with every update.
My solution for that would be a more open minded Sabia. Write her so that she is more easily convinced to do things for the tribe.
Interface [3/5]: Looks great and RenPy is the go to engine for VNs. Menu and Interface are easy to understand and use. So why only 3 points? The way they want to progress the story with all these places you need to reach over with the may aren't fitting for RenPy. I think the engine has it's limits for the use they want to create in KoD. I know that there is a huge dislike for games made in RPGM, but I think the devs still want to use many things that worked in their previous game made in RPGM.
My honest opinion, going against the majority on this website, is that they could have worked KoD even in RPGM. Leaving unnecessary running around and fighting here - fighting there out of the game and it would be, I honestly think so, a lot clearer than the way it got in the least two updates. If you take a look at Roundscape Adorevia, you could understand where I'm comming from, if you exclude the fighting and just focus on mapbuilding and interface.
Art [5/5]: The reason many of you and myself included play this game. Nomos art is pants-explodingly great. I did't like many of the new scences, because of storytelling reasons and the written word playing with the scenes, but that doesn't make the art less hot.
Gameplay [3/5]: I already said many things to the gameplay in the interface, but still have some things I want to add. Most quest don't have multiple ways for solving them, just a different outcome. Sometimes I didn't know how to progress. In the last update, you couldn't end one quest, because Jadk wasn't in the bar anymore. The fighting/level system feels ok, but not that great.
Sound [4/5]: BGM is fitting in all scences.
All in all I rate this version of KoD [3,83/5] based on my personal opinion. I don't know which way KoD will go in the future, but it won't be an easy way. The devs work this game as a hobby and don't go full-time, so I heard. That's probably the reason for the long times between updates. Just for fun I said in the thread for Wildlife, that it would be amazing, if they made a mod with KoD. That would be my wet dream. Well in my country we got a saying: Hope dies last, but it dies.

Absolutely some of the best writing I've ever seen in an H Game.
The art is great, and the interface also.

My only complaints are:
1. The story doesn't really go anywhere for now.
2. Not a lot of sex scenes for a porn game. And a lot of the times you have to "fail" to see them.

Anyway huge props to the author. Really touched my heart with the writing a couple of times. And I'm not generally into female protagonist, but this one is just that good.

Really great game. Sometimes feel like we need a good guide or we will miss alot.
After we become part of the tribe kinda feels it should be some sort of sexual job. I t is the only remark i can point to the game.
But so far really good.
