Overview:
Welcome to Kinks Quest v0.01!
This point-and-click adventure game is set in the Witchlands, a mysterious mystical land ruled by a powerful Witch Queen and her underlings. You, the player, must set out on an epic quest to seek the help of the Witch Queen to learn magic, and save your homeland from destruction. Along your journey, you will meet a massive variety of fantasy characters, Elves, Fae, Mermaids, Witches and many more, all with their own kinks that only you can help satisfy.​

It's incredibly charming. But it freezes once you try to go back to your room.

Good old days, never to be forgotten.

Who doesn't remember those days when you had to put in the effort and be creative to get things done, and now, the minute something comes out, someone already uploaded the ending or a complete game guide, or the "rewards" are just reskins of things that were already in the game, rather than anything worthy of the effort...

And while it's true that there is content that even the "lightest" of the products in this days makes it worth the "purchase," that doesn't mean it's not a bit sad that everything, like the yellow paint used to mark where you can go, is now more... "chopped up and ready to eat."

Lets be fair, some of those games were mind-numbingly convoluted and difficult to solve. Day of the Tentacle anyone?

I absolutely HAVE to give this a chance simply for the fukkin AWESOME homage to the series that effectively defined "Adventure Games"... Created by Ken & Roberta Williams (Sierra Online, Sierra Adventures, Sierra). King's Quest!!!!!

Now just hoping the Dev isn't truly evil and sadistic and don't create irreversible dead end choices like the original KQ 1-4 games had. I still have nightmares of realizing I (Rosella) , didn't have a golden egg and had played for DAYS and had to go back. **Involuntary PTSD SHUDDER...**.


Otherwise... CHEERS!!!!

I got soft locked on KQ4 too!

I also learned to use mutilple save slots, as I once saved when she was falling and ruined my game because she would die as soon as I loaded the save. Kids these days with their autosaving games!

Oh yes I remember the "oh shit!" button mash to try to avoid death or to reload and accidentally saving over...

Or how about this one for OG Adventurers....

How fast can you type "open door".... ?

I was, and still am, rubbish at speed typing but even 25yrs later I can burn some rubber if I ever have to type "open door" after playing such an ungodly amount of KQ, PQ, SQ, LSL and many more AGI games...

"Original Gamesters" like us would likely agree that one of the most important evolutions in gaming was the Point and Click interface. If not for that innovation we might still be clacking away while trying not to wake up the household instead of quietly fapping blissfully ignorant of the challenges we faced! :geek:

This game has a lot of stuff I like. Pixel art is a fav of mine (Still waiting on that tag mods.....) Can't wait for the updates!
