No, people whined they wanted to play males, ben caved and coded in male actions. Also the female only section isnt played anymore expcept by people who type mostly Chinese.

As a matter of fact the OPPOSITE is true to what you said, MANY of the people making clothes and other assest for the game have outright REFUSED to remake their items code and assests for males.

And NO Ben does all the extra items mainly, Bondage brawl,the Pandora club, the movie, the Poker game and so on are ALL BENS work. Some people HELP code it, YES, but its mainly Ben.

Is there anything I can do to get back my gear if it gets confiscated while prisoner? What if I'm taken prisoner by a faction I actually get along with? And can I get it back if I am released from prison?

In the hallway you enter between levels there's a chest that you can use to get a good portion of your items back. I don't know of any other method. I don't think a positive rep changes things either, if you get jailed by a faction you're friendly with it just changes how long they keep you for and how likely they are to take you for a walk.

Ada doesn't exactly make the change logs easy to find, and sometimes doesn't even post them at all.
These are "nightly" updates too, so often the changes are pretty minor most of the time.

5.4.58 Changelog:
- Enabled headpats (thanks Enraa!)
- Can now tie yourself up for fun with rope and other generic items
- Added reinforced links
- Added Steel cuffs
- Novice pet no longer protects you from knockdown effects
- Can now increase difficulty when doing NGP

Kardyn I suggest you look at other bondage games as this game is best for seeing more of how wide and deep it can be but miss out completely on (most) of the sounds and half the looks due to the movement restrictions. As seeing someone struggling against the bondage and the sounds they make as a result especially predicament make it so much better to just watch someone in it.
There's plenty of pornhub videos where people (yes are pretending) to escape from bondage though there's less that have predicament or forced orgasm ones. I think there's a site called orgasm games where they have to resist orgasming...or well there's Kink website.
Good Bondage games are a extremely rare niche in terms of having them include anywhere close to the depth this game has without losing some aspect of it in my view. But the ones I would reccommend are: Didnapper 2 (with overkill mod), Solas City Hero's (or any Mr Zed game), Abandoned: A Tale of Forgotten Lives (it is in my view an animation viewer game with an sequal in the works) and uh....I don't want to say this game but Swimsuit Girl Pleasure Torture Simulation (Massive Loli warning) which is similar to Abandoned.

Kardyn First because loli (it can be an massive turn off for some), second is due to it's tone is not at all jokey and quite serious and realistic tone (enough so that I can see it triggering trauma in someone as it only give the Girl's thoughts/speach on it all) which I consider to be an double edge-ed sword especially for Loli/Shota stuff if you know about RapeLay's controversy I believe you'll understand what I mean. (Parade Buster and other games made by that Dev are much safer)
Thirdly gameplay wise it sucks hard (The only gameplay thing is right at the end as it's mainly an Sandbox and it's poorly explained) and is quite short as it only has a few interactive elements compared to Abandoned which has vastly more scenes. (but again basically no gameplay it has)
So it is quite different to Kinky Dungeon as a result apart from being BDSM focused but it has great graphics and sound I recall.

Ben is mostly active creating single player content (or rather, he actually busies himself with bondage teacher mostly these days), most of the single player content is stale, since he starts something and never finishes it.
Ben does almost NO items at all, if by items you actually mean items in the game; those are all contributed by others.
It's wonderful how some people will just flame people for creating things they themselves dislike, despite having the option to not play with it, and while, yes, there are lots chinese rooms in the female-only area, those are not the only rooms, Leash Candy's been there since forever and flourishes, must be doing something right after all.
Mind you, right now, lots of active asset creators try to create unisex stuff. I am well aware of the treatment the creator of the original male body got though and I consider it shameful to treat creators that way.
