afaik the game wasn't in development, first he did a demo on the game in the past but abandoned it because he had to take care of someone and primarily released sex scenes and short stories with the same characters on his fanbox. I think this demo came into development fairly recently and is completely revamped, but I could be wrong because I didn't follow the entire timeline.

No, this is pretty much right. He did two demos back in the day, but then he stopped to take care of his sick dad his dad i believe it was. From there his fanbox was all quick simple things like random illustrations and follower requests of the characters since he wasnt sure he'd even go back to making the game proper.

This current iteration is admittedly a bit sluggish on updates as well but considering he's just one guy and 99% of the illustrations are done on Live2D I can give it a pass up until a certain point.

No clue, so far the author uploading the usual hentai CG arts. Will that be in game? We'll never know.
