You should realize or maybe informed that in the last 5 years, Illusion have changed. Some of it work force are out to form another company or joining another. The current Illusion didn't have the same quality as before even thought todays technology (software) are far more superior. Illusion never been a big company and currently even smaller.
So no need to compare to their older games since now they are basically just milking everything from the same system. Sexy Beach Premium Resort was my first notice of this changes (aka static performance). They use the very same asset from Premium Play Darkness with a little bit better in graphic. But, They cannot make the same appeal as the previous title and making + releasing a broken game. The gameplay itself also felt had no passion of the creator, they just selling people the ability of creating character without real in-game content.
In my opinion, even after waiting a month, half year or full year, Koikatu won't have the same level of complex as AA2. They are create by the different team even under the same company. But, some genius modder could poking around the game script & changing something here & there, so if you want Koikatu had the, more or less, quality to AA2, probably gonna wait for a couple of years.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right, but I never expect much from Illusion anymore ... but as I said before, I do hope some developer will use Koikatu Studio asset, to make porn games like many available in F95.
