These Illusion games offer a lot of content and customizability. Despite the lack of narrative, it's great to see advancements in Adult gaming and VR.
This game being targeted at Japanese audiences is an immediate barrier to entry. There is an official English version, but it lacks much content and has zero English audio. That shouldn't be too much of a problem however for people who are used to playing Japanese visual novels.
This is a sandbox game. It won't do much beyond providing you the ability to create characters and have fun with them in different locations. I will liken it to a SubWay sandwich. Pick your bread, pick your ingredients, and in the end you get exactly what you wanted. There are a few plots you can play through and even swap the main character of that plot and I enjoyed them, but I didn't get much replayability out of them. I don't want to see the same exact narrative over and over again with a different face.
I enjoyed this game until I didn't. I guess I prefer games with more plot or some sort of objective, otherwise I get bored too easily. The game's main objective is to populate your love club with members, but I never felt any satisfying progression or ending. The gameplay didn't do it any favors as it isn't much more than button mashing your way through dialogue. This game's graphics combined with a playable narrative is more up my alley. Several other games such as Corrupted Kingdoms use this game as the engine for their graphics.
This game is resource-heavy. If you have a decent PC, you will certainly have a better time as the load times and graphics will be better. The game crashed on me several times.
There is a lot of community support for this game. You can find all sorts of fan-made character cards online, which can be both incredible and overwhelming. It's the crippled by choice dilemma.
I could see myself occasionally coming back to this game if there is a specific character I'm interested in, but at that point, I could just look up some hentai.
