I wanted to submit this post yesterday; but we were down for maintenance.
This game is fairly low quality in sexual animations, as a platformer and is outright mean at the last level. The final stage's jumps to get the key are really mean, as well as the gravity shifts to drop you like a rock, at the bottom is a pit of enemies that are fairly annoying and when you do complete the jumps there is a ninja that jumps towards you. I found it's best to let him hit you, or risk him piledriving you into the ground. After you get the key you'll find the proper path to the exit lined with enemies for precision jumps and just plain newbie pitfalls; if you haven't played the level before.
At first I thought the game was an alright platformer, as I played more I saw less and less effort and the final level seemed less difficult and more just purposely irritating.
My final bulletpoints on making a good platformer:
- Controls should be tight, not slippery, the entire game should not feel like a mario ice level
- Do not re-use animations as much as you can manage
- Do not re-use endings for completely different enemies
- Make difficult but fun levels, not just ones that are unfairly difficult (like the camera not showing you the platforms on the key jump, causing blind leaps of faith)
