Lack of Mobile Games

Why do you think it is that mobile platforms have such a lack of good content? Specifically on android, where it's simple to distribute an apk to install, I am trying to figure out why people aren't building games for this more often. I would be that some games of even slighty-above-mediocre quality would be a pretty good hit for mobile.

Note: i know there are a few out there, but I just feel like there should be more.

I suppose that's a pretty good reason, but I for one would be playing a lot of these on my phone if I could.

A possible explanation is that it is easier to publish and create on the PC. While at the same time what you have on your PC is inherently way more private than what apps you have on your phone... That said people jerking off to porn on their phones is quite wide spread so it probably has a future... when the marked has matured and the devs stop being so damn amateurish.

On android, if you created a adult game, you can't distribute it trough google play. Meaning, that you have to find a different way, in most cases that leads to unnesseccary programs/apps that you have to download or obtaining it through add filled adult google play like programs. For which in most cases you have to pay partly of fully. So honestly there is a lack of good distribution program. Next to this, people want to see images on a big screen, not on the (relatively) small screen used by android devices.

Yeah normally phones aren't used for porn other than pictures or "rate xxx" sites. But phones are overwhelmingly used as "hook up" tools. You would think using a PC is more dangerous to a relationship but from my experience, it's not. In many cases, I've known that they see porn on PC but use the cell phones to cheat on the S.O.
So I think porn for now will stay in the PC /DVD realm while app devs will continue to push "hook up", "Date site" tools for the mobile industry.

Well if more people know of sites like this, or the subreddits for nsfw gaming weren't filled with complete bullshit, and if mikandi actually had a decent search function, i think that distribution could be easily fixed.

As for the other things people are saying about it just being better on PC, it may be, and it will continue to be. Mobile games will never be on par with PC gaming - however, I know that I am not alone in wishing I could play with some virtual titties at work lol.

I suppose the only true answer to my dilemma is to solve it myself and start making games for Android, huh?

Hopefully Mikandi continues to improve??? If they do, they might just corner the mobile market. I do like Mikandi but since cells tend to be closely monitored, I use it on my tablet which uses my wifi and doesn't have cellular connection.

i'd love to just see 'tags' implemented on mikandi so the search is improved. also there are a ton of apps that haven't been updated in years and clog up the results. Maybe beyond just tags, having search filters would be useful.

u could chek this out, make a request. renpy games are supposedly easy to port. but yeah, ask this guy and see what he can come up with.

As a developer, it would be foolish to overlook the facts.
