My Sisters and Me by CursedSavinkov First Thoughts at Episode 2.1

*I have no idea which of these might actually be Love Interests
The sisters, for sure

And Wndy too, judging by the coding (you caught a typo there, btw). I think there are points and chapter end screens that suggest Ara and Kelly too, but as for any confirmation... not a clue.

Well it would be the shocker, given the games title if the siters are not. LOL and if Wndy isnt (thanks and fixed) I will be upset. Isla deserves a card because she got a scene. I think Vanery may possibly be one, given the choice presented pretty much after meeting her. The only one I wasnt sure on is the Mom, Kate and Ara, but as you said, they appear in that chapter summary thing so gave them all a card.

The only one I'm not so sure on is the mom, but I hope she is, because I quite like her too. Wendy is one of my favourites, even if I hate the name. I just want her to move so we can start seeing more of her, but I was pleased to at least get the phonecall in the latest update. I think there are specific "path" markers already in the game for the two sisters (I definitely saw those ones) and Wendy (I think I saw that one).

I'll take the content with mom for research/Completionist reasons, but as evident by my cards, shes my least favourite. I didn't like that scene; she had no business talking to us on the phone like that. She should have been naked, displaying everything. Man, I really need to start playing with URM so I can notice these markers

December In View

And with that, the 2025 season of AVNs comes to an end. When I first set out doing this at the start of last year, it was a way for me to combat my ever-growing “to play” list. While I have actually enjoyed playing like this, it has introduced me to some games I wouldn’t even have noticed. December and a couple of other months have told me I really need to change, or rather, tweak the way I do things.

December, for example, given the Holidays, was actually quite the busy month and with my household suffering from illness for a period of two weeks, the folder was actually left with 11 games in it, with 5 more in the download folder awaiting extraction.

Going forward I’ve decided to keep a backup folder, for those months that are a little quieter – obviously I cant keep adding to it forever, so it will only have a set number of games in it and older ones will be lost to newer ones, but I am hoping a few less games get lost this way – it’ll also handle the problem I faced when big updates drop on the last day of the month.

Anyway, as I said, due to varying factors, December wasn’t as busy as other months, still a bit of games, but no where near what we are used too. But let's see what f95 brought us to end the year.

New Games

Our Quiet Temptation – Right, so it seems I am becoming quite fond of these AI games, as it doesn’t seem like a month goes by without me picking one up. This one was an absolute solid start, though, based on that cliffhanger and what we got, we could make a few educated guesses. For now, though, we got a nice introduction to our characters, A nice flirtatious daring girl, a big dicked male who gets little “alpha”, A MILF Neighbour. The stage is set. The art here is great, I’d say it's been touched up in Photoshop, as everything seems on point, there are always 5 fingers, hairstyles remain constant, clothing does too. I’m interested to see where this one goes.

Cursed Pleasure – So this isn’t bad, but it is not really good either. I’m going to give our dev the benefit of the doubt here, because the Dev is a beginner. But the plot is one of them wank fest games, our MC is an absolute shithead, who has decided to take his whole family as his own. To be fair, the whole family seems to be shitheads, so it’s one of them. The renders aren’t exactly earth shattering, but they are the right side of average and the AI animation all though obvious, is not as obvious as some are these games. I can already tell this one's not for me. I may pop back in later, just to see the lewds, but for now, it's a pass

Milfheim: The Twisted – Well, this was a nice, pretty debut. We don’t get a lot, but we get enough. An orphan of an MC returns to his hometown during a break from Uni and begins a journey to discover some truths about not only him it seems, but others around him. It's not an entirely new concept, but it is not one that is done a lot either. I won't lie, it seems to be a slow start, and there were a few times I was zoned out of the game, not sure if that was just my mood or the flow of the game itself. I’ll pop back into this if I have the time, but until it gets a few updates behind it, I don’t think it's one I will rush to.

Cases – Well if you ever watched that TV show Suits you know this game already – Honestly practically the same as the first episode from the law school drop out failing a drug drop in a hotel, hiding in an interview, impressing the boss with his memory, etc etc – this will obviously and hopefully deviate a bit from suits, it has too given its an AVN, but for now its not very original – I’ll give it the time of the day, as I actually enjoy the source material, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I dropped this fast.

Irys – This was one of those debuts that is hard to gauge. Not coming out bad or good, despite the renders feeling a bit flat, I would say some are on the right side of average. The story, however, doesn’t seem original… we seem to be walking the “shady company” side of things – it was relatively short and had to “force” a lewd. This might go somewhere, but I am undecided on it myself

Secrets Between Lines – So this is from the dev that brought us Tangled bonds – a game I didn’t rate to highly back in February. This one doesn’t seem bad, but I can't tell you if it seems good either. While there is a bit in this one chapter release, we are only getting the bare bones and hints of a story, the renders do seem okay, though, and the story does seem interesting enough. For now, I will stick with it, but I am not expecting greatness.

Operation Rio: Blood Trails – I honestly don’t know what to say about this game. I am struggling to even justify its existence. It is a sequel to a game I have not played, Life in Rio. Checking that games thread, it doesn’t even have the completed status, so why this has dropped is beyond me – anyway, this is nothing special. It might be, but it's hard to tell with the content we got, while not exactly a five-minute wonder. You could knock this one out in about 20 minutes. The writing is okay, considering English is not our devs' first language, the renders are all right, our MC suffers from the curse of being too busty, so her clothes don’t hang right. But its got those annoying AI animations devs are becoming such a fan of using. I’ll be passing on this game until I at least play Life in Rio I think

Finding Mia – Well, I would say on the surface, this seems like your typical Family Harem game. You have the Mom, one sister who seems shy and overly close to you and the other sister who looks like she hates you – I guess it's a formula that has been proven to work… There is a bit of mystery element added here and maybe some supernatural thing, but the release didn’t give too much away… Its not a bad release by any stretch, but its not good either… somewhere in the middle, some of the renders need work, and the script could really do with a proof reader. This one could go either way.

Updates

Price of Desire – So this was actually one I had forgotten about, not in terms of the narrative… that soon came back to me, I just had forgotten I had played it. The fact that it did come back to me at least tells me its just I’m playing too many games and not that it didn’t leave a lasting impression. This was a slightly weird update, though, in terms of story, it brought us to what could be considered a nice turning point, though it is given as a choice, so I am interested to see how that plays out. Considering I have said before that there are a lot of the genre of NTR/NTS games out there I like how this one is a little different. Time will tell if this capitalises.

Laylas Shattered Hope – Okay, so the split in story here has result in two very distinctive storylines, however the dev time needed to manage two very distinctive narratives is obviously showing. While, yes, overall the content remains constant with what we have got before, the two paths are considerably shorter than what we have gotten before. One path also lacked some lewds, while the other was a bit more open with them. I think this game is now at a turning point, and I am interested to see if both of our paths get the attention they deserve or if one or the other is the way to go. Time will tell on this one.

Wedding Roaming – Well, I think we are coming to an end on this one. Our MC sounds like he is arriving next update. Luckily, the narrative has given us a nice way to keep the couple apart (if needed) and also our bull's phone has been damaged, so we can't look at that anymore (we do get an option as players to look at his new one), but going into the next update, our MC is really blind. The setup is quite good here, and given our devs' last game, I think the landing will be stuck. Time will tell though.

Fiction Paradox – So this was a weird one that showed up way back in May, and I couldn’t tell you anything about it then, now? Well it seems that we are going for a dystopian future with one man trying to save the world, or at least himself. I still cant work out from that as to if it will be good or not, but I feel more confident going on with this when I first played that choose your preferences demo. I’ll pick this up again.

Blairewood – So I won't hold up much hope for this one at all. Seems this one has been in development hell for sometime and we didn’t even get all of what the dev wanted to do, leaving us yearning for another part to come in Late Dec/Early Jan – I mean, from Oct 2021 to Dec 2025 to remake half a prologue, I just can't see this one going anywhere. I can't even be sure if time will tell on this, as that prologue didn’t tell us anything, hopefully part B will, but for now, all I can say is it's a very pretty game that has a history that doesn’t give me hope we will get regular updates at all

Welcome to Port Heaven – This felt like a real step backwards compared to what we got in July – the art is no longer consistent, I noticed the stripper's hair, changing shades and styles and a female character's underwear changing throughout scenes, there was also a problem with shading. Added to the fact that these updates are just too short for the period we wait (granted, I am only playing one route, but still), there are better AI games than this out there, and this one really is struggling to keep up now.

The Big Step – I think its actually time to drop this one now, I wont lie its been a fun little jaunt, but its not exactly going anywhere. It just seems to be more of how we can get our FMC into more pervy situations rather than progression. I still think there might be something here… I just want it to move forward rather than be in this horny, stalled state it seems to be in

Hot Prospect – This was terrible, and given the recent information in the Dev Log, it’s not going to get any better at all. First things first, it looks terrible. The dev has chosen some quite average models, which, when rendered in the quality, they are just do not look good at all. There are times they are very flat, other times they look incredibly fuzzy, and the lack of any texture just makes them look weird a lot of the time. It felt like I was looking at them through dirty spectacles or something.. The UI needs some looking at too – its extremely amateurish, and when you get to the end of a day, it makes an already daunting task, the sandbox sand building, more tedious than it should be. The narrative seems to be that of a basic corruption story, but it's less than inspiring, and when added with the previously mentioned sandbox skill system – that by the way, seems very unbalanced and doesn’t scale right just makes the whole experience a chore.

In Security – So a contender for Octobers Game of the Month returns with an update of decent length, while I’ve seen longer, I have seen shorter too. This update was just dedicated to getting our couple used to the kinks they are about to explore and the much-needed talk there after. It may have come across a little fast, but it always does, these stories have to be told after all. It’s no different from a lot of the NTR games out there. Now that the cat is out of the bag, this will probably run, and the quality will show. We shall see what happens with this turning point.

Hard to Love – So I last played this in July and came out of it a little confused, suggesting I needed a full play through of this, which is what I did this time and I have to say, I think my review from way back when needs updating. This game really seems to be coming into its own now it's gotten into Act 2. The premise is coming out – the story telling still needs a bit of improvement as it is a bit jarring and jumpy in places, but other than that it is okay, definitely not up there with the best of the best. Still, it no longer deserves the 4 I gave it a while back, will have to re-look at this once we get a bit more of act 2.

Time Heels – This was one that had been on my radar for a while, but I never got around to it for one reason or another. Anyway, you’re probably best off reading my first thoughts here.

Heven’s Door – Well, this game seems to be some pathing now – and it also seems to be ramping up a lot. It was a nice little update. I felt it was just a general filler episode until the end, but those ending scenes were enough to tell me that, despite feeling like filler, we did move the story on a lot. There was an issue with one of the renders in this update, though, honestly quite shocking really and I expect better from this dev, it doesn’t take away from what a good game this is, but it was worth mentioning.

Law School - So we are now into a new season and there are changes afoot – we are no longer dealing with the building of a personality, but instead now building relationships with the set girls available to us on that personality path – It’s a little disappointing really to go right back to square one with the girls, esp when you have one sneaking into your room right at the start. But other than that, I cant really fault the update, 6 lewds spread across all 3 paths means multiple play throughs are a must – the season 1 cliffhanger hasn’t been resolved and is still dangling with a few more questions asked this time. Really coming into its own now this one.

Siren Song – So I got dating my daughter vibes from this game, which was weird because despite the similar premise (a daughter and father getting nasty) they are executed in a different way, where as DMD seems to be a build up, this one jumps straight into it, we are already 3 chapters in and the deed is done, yes I get its an AVN and we cant go too slow, but the act doesn’t feel earned at all. The game is pretty enough, but the story (the daughter and father travelling for music shows) seems a bit weak. I don’t know if now that the core characters have opened that door, there will be enough to go on. I’ll pick it up again, but I’m not holding up much hope

Secrets and Promises – This is a GEM. I don’t know how many other ways I can say that. It's simply fantastic – yes, it may not be the prettiest game, Heck it may not even have the tightest or neatest story, but my god, this all comes together in greatness. Love it.

My Bimbo Dream – Well, it looks like we have finally got pathing here, and the consequences of not using your Season 1 saves come to light – while it's nice, I guess, to give us the shortcut to choose a path with our girls, it doesn’t feel earned, and my season 1 play through now feels wasted. The story definitely seems to be turning into something I usually shy away from. But the handling of the Moms feelings as she accepts and embraces the bimbo life, well, on the path I am playing, I think its done well… This is a game that’s still on the edge of being dropped, but the most recent update at least told me they can step back from the edge. We shall see if the GAME nose dives or saves itself.

Blast From the Past

So this little feature hasn’t brought me as many gems as I would have liked. So far, the 11 games I have tried so far have a nice average score of 4.72 so just wrong side of 5. You can read all about what I thought about Breeze of Passion here. Though the game did not do much to move that average score at all. Next year I’ll be doing something a little different, though there will still be some trips through dirt, I think, but hopefully it won't be as demoralising.

The Fappies

So I have been liking these fun little awards, but I unfortunately do not think they are working, the “girl of the month” folders have been full of images and it has often been hard to knock them down to three, and there has been multiple months I really struggled to even pick a game that even deserve “best game of the month” the “worst game” generally hasn’t been a problem – but similar to how I mentioned in the update, I am going to have to look at the way I do these, but just to bring the year out, we can do one more

Best New Game – here we have sort of proof of what I was just discussing, when you look at what I said about the 8 new games this month, none of them really stand out, with a lot of them being described as “not bad but not good” None of them show greatness like say “My Husbands Boss” or “Heaven’s Door” did – still to end the year we have to pick something, when writing this up and checking my notes two games actually stood out. Secrets Between Lines and Finding Mia, I think on the surface though, Secrets Between Lines was the better production and deserved the nod

Best Update – This one was a little more easy given the amount of updates, but still had a bit of difficultly, there were so many that could have got this one, but not for reasons of being a good production or anything like that. Mainly just because it was great for various reasons in my opinion, Wedding roaming, for example, isn’t the most flashy game, but it is and has been up there constantly pushing out great updates. Time Heals and Hard to Love both have absolutely great production values and a good story, but in terms of story, it could be argued that they are lacking. The award this month though goes to Law School. While I will admit, there were some choices by the developer in this new season that I would argue are very questionable, I can't deny it was a massive update, full of great renders, story and replay value

Best New 2D Game – Well, this one wasn’t hard, was it? I only played one, and this is what I mean when I said I need to change it up – winning by default seems wrong. Never the less Our Quiet Temptation was good, but it wasn’t going up against anything.

Best Updated 2D game – Like the above, this one is another win by default, but this time I’d question if Welcome to Port Heaven actually deserved it, especially given I said it felt like it was a step backwards. I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, though, as it does have multiple paths, and I am only really playing the one that interests me.

Worse New Game – Okay, this is when the awards get unfair, this month, for example, there wasn’t a game that was truly bad for the right reasons, for example, having missing images, syntax errors or typos. It was genuinely a case of being the worst of the bunch. And while I thought his one would be the easiest with my mind going straight to the “suits” rip off cases, but when checking my notes I suddenly remembered Cursed Pleasure. While I wouldn’t say it's bad for the right reason I mentioned, it definitely has its faults, and if your game slips from my memory, well, that’s telling to me

Worst Update – This one was easy - in terms of the standards we can measure games with, this one fails on quite a lot. Renders Poor, Dialogue Poor, Sandbox elements poor. Hot Prospect is not a good game by any measurable standards
Hey Laguna, your monthly reviews are really great. I read them every month. I'm always happy when they come out because I've always missed something and rediscover it through you. Your list of games you play every month is really impressive. You're a total enthusiast.
Maybe you could highlight the overview (new game, update, game name, etc.) in a different color so that individual games or points are easier to find.
I also like your LI character cards from the monthly reviews better than the “new” ones from the game reviews. But that's just a matter of taste, of course. (No criticism intended.)
P.S. In the November view, you made a small big mistake when you had to paint the bathroom. It wasn't the view from September, but from October. You should have a serious talk with your wife;).
I wish you a fappy and healthy New Year.

I am glad you are finding them useful - i was always hoping these things would help people discover games, but if it is helping you rediscover things, well thats good too. While the list may be impressive, I do not plan to play that many games this year, so with fewer games, it might be easier to format the monthly review a bit better.
I am quite fond of the girl of the month cards myself; unfortunately, they weren't working... the folder where I kept the contenders saved, one month had 27 girls in it alone, and it becomes too tough to narrow them down. It was easy to keep a 3 tiered Gold, Silver and Bronze when you are only rating the best, but when you start rating them all, I needed a few extra tiers and I didnt have a Platinum, Stone or Wooden Banner to hand to help with the transition... Hence, the change in design. I might still recognise the Best girl of the month, but at least this way, no one is getting missed - but to be honest, as you will read in next Month in View Post - the fappies themselves become more of a chore than they were worth, so they're getting changed too.

Haha Thanks for pointing out the error. I've fixed that now

Story - The premise is a simple one: our MC is the head of security at some office, and he is married to someone out of his league, and he knows it. As a result, he has fantasies about her sleeping with other men, often brought about by watching her on the security cameras. As coincidence would have it, the wife also likes the feeling she gets by flirting with people, and after a few chance conversations with a colleague, she starts to feel the hot wife vibe - that's it, at the end of chapter two our couple are ready to explore these kinks. It was so rushed, by the middle of chapter 3 I was suffering some serious whiplash.

There is a secondary narrative going on in the background, some shady shit involving the boss, that probably would have had some weight to at least keep the momentum at a reasonable pace, but in all honesty, so far it's only really been used as a tool for reasons to do with NTR.

Renders - The renders here are okay, Id say they are on the correct side of average, however there are a number of factors that bring that overall assessment down. In an attempt to really push that our FMC is out of our MC's League and shes wanted by every other man, shes rendered to an over-the-top standard, massive tits, tiny waist, etc., etc. I can see where our dev was going with this, but in all honest,y it does not land in the slightest, esp given there is so far at least 2 characters I would consider better looking than her.

Our Dev seems to have gone the route of letting AI produce the animations, while I get the appeal, like many other games, it has missed the mark completely, the difference between the normal rendered scenes and the animations is like night and day, and it can be very jarring.

Characters - We have been introduced to a fair share at the moment, the MC, the FMC, the token BBC, the token pervy boss and the token office friend - they meet all the tropes you expect. Our MC is a creepy little pervert with hacking superpowers, who knows or at least suspects that everyone thinks is batting above average with the FMC. I feel there was a missed opportunity to develop those in securities and push him into the "hotwifing life" Instead, he is just there with nothing feeling earned. Our FMC knows she is a stunner and, for various reasons like flirting and likes the attention, but again this isn't built upon, there was one opportunity to show her being uncomfortable with other males' advances and have her fall into the life, but shes railraoded so fast into it, its unreal. In short, there is absolutely no natural character development at all. The characters develop as the plot needs them to, and you can feel the force behind it, with the supporting cast feeling like they are there to fill tropes and help with that force

Overall - I said at both V0.1 and V0.2 that this game had potential; it is clear at v0.3 that potential had been squandered. I understand, getting NTR right is hard, I get that. After all, once you get to the actual event, there's no real story you can tell other than the "wife fucks another cock the week" trope. Many Games struggle with balancing a nice narrative with the compelling nature to get lewds into the story. But this game had at least the ingredients to tell a compelling story within the sub-genre. It was in such a rush to get to its destination, it forgot the journey is often the interesting part of these games, and now I cant tell if this game is trying to be serious or it's trying to be a parody. Either way, it is not one I will return to any time soon.

Well, I saw your review yesterday, and I was going to hold out playing this so I could put some distance between my post and yours. Unfortunately, yours confirmed what I thought would happen back when I played in December, so I just had to rip the plaster off. 0.3 had the opportunity to go anyway, shame they chose the way they did, as it wasted a lot of potential.

Summer Heat by Naughty Fox Games -Reviewed at Version 0.6.1

Story - The narrative kicks off with our MC travelling alongside his best friend, Mike, and Mike’s sister, Mia, to attend a nice summer art camp. It’s a nice "long hot summer" setup and a slow burn at that. Despite being sixish chapters in, there isn't much that is driving the plot forward. I found the writing compelling enough to at least be interesting and is doing a good job at building the relationships between the characters, but that is about it, in terms of narrative, there is actually nothing really acting as a hook, despite there being many breadcrumbs laid.

Renders - Visually, this game is fantastic, up there with the best of them. I would say it has a really professional feel to it. Most of our females here are rendered to a superb standard, and bar one or two, are actually very naturally looking characters. Even with the bustier models, clothing warp is minimal, and I couldn't spot any instances of clipping. There has definitely been some effort made to make the characters somewhat real, with a fair bit of detail being added to the eyes and expressions. It is certainly nice when you see these little nuances, but I think the inclusion of the same image blinking or moving lips is certainly one factor in the massive development schedule, and the text is doing more lifting than the images ever could. The environments are really impressive. I found every scene to have adequate lighting and a nice ambience. So far, we are pretty self-contained, only really venturing out from our Cabin to a shop, a "strip club" or the wilderness outside. Where needed, there are various NPCs, but the world doesn't quite feel as big as it could. Lewds are few and far between in this game, and although we have 15 scenes in the gallery, only 5 of these could be considered sexual; they are pretty vanilla, but they do flow nicely and don't feel janky at all.

Characters - The game centres around the token "Golden Trio" trope. We have the MC, his comic relief Best Friend, Mike and the best friends hot sister Mia, who has major feelings for the MC. There is a lot of playful banter around the MC and Mia, and it telegraphs Mia's feelings hard. Our MC knows this too and is either an absolute idiot or an absolute arsehole because, despite them having talked about this, he has no problem looking at and flirting with others in front of her, with her discomfit showing sometimes. Our supporting cast is then filled with more tropey characters, from the Rich Girl, a Dumb Girl, an Emo girl, a MILF teacher and an older Nymph. Most of them catch the feels for our MC straight away, but in a shock, do not jump on his cock - relationships really have to be built here, and it seems the game is not going to be afraid of crushing hearts along the way.

Overall - This game is an absolute conundrum to me, the story has absolutely stalled, and I don't think it's picking up steam any time soon, especially with the slow development cycle - and it doesn't even look like the long cycles give us full chapters. The game is trying for high-end production, with a asthetically pleasing "vibe" and technical polish, but in doing so misses the mark completely on the thing that actually matters, the narrative. While I found it written quite well, in terms of characters, talking like normal humans would, no typos and the likes... there are a lot of things that seem drawn out, I mea,n 6 chapters in and only just getting to Day 2 of the camp? I would say there's several things that could be left on the cutting rom floor. I don't think it quite has the narrative complexity it is going for. That being said, there is something about it though. If this was any other game, I'd have likely bowed out earlier, or gotten to the end of the current update and said "not for me," yet there is something about it that makes me want to continue. How long that will last, I couldn't say.
