It's because of Japan's law this even comes from the Meiji restoration but nobody dares to change it. You can make pornography since it's freedom of expression but it must be censored, even if it's a draw or cartoon. If you don't do it you can go to jail.

Its not that nobody dares change it, it just that they ALLOW it to persist. Knowing full well that law is outdated and only exist to give lawmakers an excuse to exist. I'm not gonna put a gun into every Japanese artist head and force them to fight this law. That an issues they themselves have to fight within their home land. It just ridiculous seeing them being the image of "freedom of expression" but don't attempt to fighting this overreaching law. This single law is what holding them back.
