Dude, cool game, awesome art, and great writing. But for the love of God, please, you gotta ditch this stupid habit of putting a pause before every single fucking line. If you wanna show that the character is hesitating just use ellipsis. This is so irritating, especially cause the pause statement isn't affected by the transitions var.

Thank you! And yeah sorry for that. Nowadays I do it mostly to show character talking properly, if for example there is a sprite of maple_talk and then she talks again her mouth won't close, and it looks weird to me so I put pause in there. Most of the pauses I do nowadays are around 0.1-0.2 sec

No, this scene is not in the game and won't be. I decided not to make it because the story plan changed much since I made this picture.

so is there a bad end with nora and maple that i havent unlocked yet, or is that planned for later? I can see missing images in the gallery right between the scenes but i cant access them for the life of me.

It has a ton of potential with some of the best art iv seen in the space, but its kinda hard to enjoy when every 5 seconds its just a black screen staring at you during crucial moments. The biggest issue has been left unchanged for to long tbh making people forget about it

im not experiencing a sudden black screen at any point. Unless you mean the transitions, in that case, ive seen so much worse on this site alone. Im pretty sure the dev has just dropped it himself bc he would frequently answer almost any question in the thread and hasnt said anything to anyone in 4-5 months. It seems like people aren't paying attention bc the updates arent coming in, not the other way around.

Not a sudden black screen like a crash. A black screen as in no art for tons of time on the game during crucial moments.
