Been a while, but IIRC you don't get them from losing. Beating enemies has a (small) chance to drop an armor piece, so you need to win fights against certain enemies (not sure which ones, or if it s all latex ones that drop them).
I see a button or whatever for characters - first one doesn't do anything.
Assuming this is a bug.

You can find your corrupted minions in different spawn locations again.
There you have to beat them and bring them back to the hospital
The button is to force them to spawn there again. If it s the case that you loosed them somehow out of combat or in between the fight transition

Did I understand correctly that when we lose to certain minions, we don't get a new suit, but only a part? And is it normal that when I lose, the gem takes me to the nearest teleportation monolith?
Maybe it's just my general lack of brain power but isn't this game a bit lacking in terms of player guidance?

To be clear, I like this mod. But it seems overcomplicated. In my opinion: If you present the player with a riddle or problem then the solution should be found from within the game. And without having to basically brute force grind around to find it.
Especially given the nature of this game. Remember that while playing, a certain part of my lower body takes away some of the blood that was supposed to go to the brain. Which is good. It means the game is doing its job. But then don't expect me to Sherlock Holmes my way through a latex porn game with a raging boner. I won't be able to do it.
For example:
- There's a locked door in the bee hive. I can't open it. In this thread it was said that you should help the queen. I did, and got a crystal. Door still doesn't open. Thread says I should help her again but there's nothing standing out. She has no further requests, nothing is highlighted with these sparkly indicators. When I go back to the road sign, it says that I should pay more attention. To what exactly? I searched the entire map 4 times!
- Supposedly there's a second floor in the bee hive but again, I don't know where. There's a break in the wall that looks exactly like the one through which I entered the hive in the first place. But it doesn't do anything. It's just a piece of wall. One and the same element is sometimes a door and sometimes a wall. How is that helpful?
- In the devil ruins there's a locked door that prevents my progress. And no information from within the game about how to proceed. Searching through this thread, I found that I'm supposed to find 5 "named girls" and bring them to someone named Lacy. How do I bring them? And who's Lacy? NPCs in the game have no name tags above their head or in their dialog windows. Unless you can enter into combat (where the name is displayed) you never know someone's name. Or is this referring to some anime character who's in the game? Because not everyone knows every anime out there. And where would I find any given character? Who can remember them all?
- In one of the plant monster maps, there's a sparkly indicator. But when you activate it it just says: "It's peaceful here." Ok. Does that mean something? Why is this important?
- There was an area with a temple but no obvious way to get there. I tried to explore ahead thinking I might discover another path. But none revealed itself and now I can't find it again unless I start from scratch and fight myself through all the respawning monsters.
- Which reminds me: Why can't you go backwards from the teleport stones? If you want to go to the last plant area, for example, you can't teleport to the devil ruins and go back one map. You have to teleport to the start of the plant area and fight through all of the maps again.
- And so on.

For the sign. There is a fucking bee hive nearby with monster who canonically eat your soul... Watch out

Depends, some monsters give you a permanent suit until you remove it or replace it. Idk if there are other material slave outfits like tentacle but you can obtain new suits via defeat or letting being convert. And yes, is normal. Only work for half the first map tho.
just a question how do you complete the monsterpedia and encyclopedia? bucause in order to complete the encyclopedia you need to lose to bosses and get the corrupt armors. but to complete the monsterpedia you need to defeate the bosses. Do I just beat the game a certain way and then use big reset jellys?
Also speaking of the monsterpedia, there are some mosnters that i didnt found them anywhere (specially in the latex area) for example: monsters #21, #22, #25, #26

You can buy orbs to respawn the bosses. IIRC, it's in the shop in the upper right of town.

OK, TLDR is that there are 3 versions of Latex Dungeon. There was the original version that ZXC made in RpgmakerVXAce, then ZXC did a remake version for Rpgmaker MV which is the steam version, and this is a mod of the VXAce version which incorporates a lot of the art from the MV version. This one also includes a more story and better gameplay (though it has anticheat measures).
Is it recommended I play the main unmodded version of latex dungeon first before playing this game or this is just a better version of the base game?
When you are captured by the 2 demon girls in the demon crystal area, is there a way to escape or has that not been implemented yet? I can't find my way out sadly.
For comparison, you can play the original first, but everything you find is in the mode. As mentioned in the message above, the modified version contains arts from the mv version (most of them) and something from another ZXC's game (SimTentacle). Plus, the mod's author is trying to add new quests and similar-themed art from other artists.
