Uh... It's probably because I updated my Renpy to the latest versions. Maybe I could export the project to an older one later to see if it works.

Because ESL. Not everyone is native to English speaking countries.
I've seen native English speakers make that mistake too. I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing out when apostrophes are used incorrectly.

Genuine question. At this point its clear he's not great at english. Its not the absolute WORST ive seen but its not good. Why doesnt the dev just get someone who DOES know how to speak fluent english to proofread his work? Is it pride or has he just legitimately not thought of it?

Well, I'm saving up so I can pay a professional to proofread it. The thing is, since I don’t earn much, I end up producing more text to translate than I manage to save. That’s also why I was thinking the next updates could be more “technical” or “mechanical” and include less lore, so I can catch up on that matter.
The game looks pretty promising, congrats dev!
A few things: I'm not sure how to get the content related to playing video games at home, when I do so nothing happens. Does it have to be on a certain day? I think i'd be great if the hints in the phone were also extended to stuff you didn't find yet, that way you could really choose what story to advance.
I'm also not sure if I reached the end of the content for everything else, Does the Nagatoro stuff stops at me learning how to draw people?
As a little nitpicking, I'd say that being able to consult the phone only at home can be a bit of a pain sometimes.
Finally, I found the few available H scenes to be a bit lacking in terms of writing suring the scene itself. It didn't bother me too much as I'm not a huge fan of those characters, but I do hope that when it'll come to Komi, Nagatoro, Marin etc, H scenes will have nice writing
All that is mostly nitpicking though, as it doe have a better start than most games
