Drinking the potion does nothing for me.
This game is so bugged it's really unfortunate.

I don't think it was the standard potion she usually gives you after chores but I've not played this game in a few months since before v0.11 and no idea anymore how it was triggered, sorry.
You're right though, a chunk of scenes are very difficult and tedious, if not impossible, to trigger. Especially the dev builds, like the last current version on here, are usually rather buggy so your best bet might be waiting for someone to upload v0.12 or the next one, whenever that releases.

game is awesome, though does have quite a few bugs... I cannot progress with lux any further, also i cannot clean irelia's boots even though they are already clean. Was awesome for what I could get to tho, think a bug fix patch for community glitches would be awesome. love this game

Owl has had some IRL issues basically, but he's working on the update, albeit slowly, he also apparently lost his discord for a while for whatever reasons so there were no updates for a while. He does say the update will be worth it.

I think for her scenes you have to go into her room when she is not elsewhere in the map, for example she isn't training or you and can't find her in the bar etc. Pretty much random.

Not sure if people still need a fix for Irelia not wanting to train you because you havent cleaned her boots (even though you have)

In MTool, in the tab "switches" you can find the trigger "IreliaHappy" (its number 168 or something, but you can search with the F key) and if you tick that, Irelia will train you and you can progress with her. You can also remove her boots from your inventory
