That previous review below me that said "the best mediocre game I've ever played" really hit the nail on the head. In terms of art, it's very nice to look at. But the execution of some of the decisions that the developer made are so nonsensical, it's almost like it was intentionally done to be "anti-progress" and almost spiteful for wanting to enjoy all the content the game has to offer. What kind of game introduces an event that has an automatic game over for being too high on a stat system you coded into the game? That and all the other dead ends, it makes no sense. I wanted to like this game, and probably would have if it didn't have so many ass backwards development decisions and respected my time more. (Also, the previous five star review below me that CLEARLY points out that it's required to play the game with a guide, is liked by the dev, and STILL gives it 5 stars is hilarious.)
