You can play as Aden, Stheno, Euryale or Ashmedai. Stheno is the canon "perspective" though.

Ah, so the games do have a cannon route, is it always a gender choice in the games though since I rather play as a male?

With this update, chapter 1 is almost story complete. Much more to add including side-quests, more items/drops and more classes. Let me know if you guys manage to unlock the special chaos or heavenfire classes. I know the lust class is possible, but I'm uncertain if the others work yet. You have to work hard to avoid getting lust affinity points or you'll unlock the special lust class first which makes the others much harder to get.
There are two lewd scenes not available in this version that are unlocked once you have a couple levels in the special lust class. The se are in the ELITE version which is currently free as the

You can play as the female protagonist from the start if you want.
What should be done to solve this problem? I don't know what outdated drivers mean. I downloaded the demo version of the game from Steam, the same crap pops up. I really want to play the game, I love the theme of children being born purely among girls, when a girl conceived another girl, I really want to play for the female protagonist .

Can you attach the log.txt? Will it let you select a different renderer? On windows, some have reported that holding down shift when you start the game and forcing directX and disabling powersave may help.

Great to see the update. 
My two cents:
The review by VictorDoUrden is very poorly written, IMO. It breaks many rules, but the mods refuse to delete it.
It doesn't provide clear explanations of why the reviewer disliked certain aspects.
Like: ("All the negatives I can say is just general renpy stuff.") That's so informative, no wonder a mod decided it was acceptable.
This is an example of mods harming a game by allowing a review to remain up.
No game should have a review in its first release, unless it's a new, stand-alone, completed game.
My two cents:
