Pretty ambitious goal, since it's nearing Christmas now, How has development been going?
A quite nice person compiled the Spine skeletons for us, which means no more PNG sequences!
I didn't ask for disclosure to reveal who this person is, so I won't be sharing the identity yet.
I've written that post just after I made an entire pipeline in working with PNG sequences. This planned v0.8 was going to be quite big and resource intensive due to how I was packing the animations without Spine.
About a month later, I got my hands into the compiled Spine skeletons, but the sad part is that I needed to rework the animation process to properly account for Spine now, which means more time spent on framework development instead of world events.
Although I consider that this rework was well worth the effort, it also means I won't be able to deliver the previously mentioned "close to v0.8"
Is there an updated link for the download of the game? I can't find it as the one I tried went to Bad Gateway Stating Host Error. I tried it on two different browsers no less (and I really want to try it to see how far you've come).
I also tried the manual install process but the third option (which allows you to copy the game files) also had bad gateway (Host Error).
There's no official compiled executables for the game. You aren't missing much from players perspective anyway besides a walk, talk, shower, interact, and masturbate simulator. I'll explain how you can get your hands in a compiled binary later on.
Openlok infra is partially fucked up due to me not migrating its services to our newer systems, it is a trivial task that takes a bit of time. The only thing receiving some kind of maintenance is the repo so that I can keep on with development.
