3 stars?!?! This game is a classic! It's old! Really old, but it has made history. Literally. Pay respect to the queen!

Also, a lot of artworks and a soldi gameplay. The best ending of the series. Huge tits and cocks

Ah yes, one of the classics.
There are other old porn games, that have aged much worse than this one.

Typical RPGMaker stuff, but you can tell, that some effort went into making this. If you can tolerate the tedium of JRPGs, you won't hate this game. Don't expect to play with your dick in your hand. The ratio between gameplay and sexy artwork is pretty abysmal.
[Abe Simpson: As was the style at the time.]
Keep in mind, that pornographic games were pretty much a rarity outside Japan back then. This game had no budget. Patreon didn't exist yet.
The creator was commissioning singular pieces of artwork from all kinds of artists to be inserted into this game. Hence it is a bit difficult to judge the quality of the art. But I like at least some of it.
The story and quality of writing are ok. Nothing special but also not offensive to the intellect.

So yeah, the 4 star rating is only achieved by considering the age of the game in its favour. There are much better porn games available now, even RPGMaker games. But there are also new ones, that still somehow manage to be much, much worse. But that's probably not a surprise to anyone.

So why would anyone want to play this nowadays? Dunno, maybe you are some kind of porno historian? Or nostalgia, maybe.

Extremely ancient RPGM engine (can not update it to modern RPGM because RPGM has shit backwards compatibility), typical grindy walking simulator with bad combat that you have come to expect from bad RPGM games. Horrible resolution. only way to play on a modern monitor is to alt-enter to see in full screen which turns squares into rectangles. No quality of life features like text fast forward.
The game series share a universe but are not really related. You are not supposed to play them in order. For each game the other 2 games are not canon.

LoQO1 you play as Jake (or custom name) who goes to Egypt and fucks the trio of gabe's characters (Queen Opala, Good Princess, Evil Princess). With options on romance or dominance. You can even end up as king and the evil princess as your sex slave. The game has no art to go with the sex scenes that happen in the game.
Just a couple of badly written porn dialog lines on black background.
What it does have is husky voice over by a woman who reads these porn lines to you. So wear headphones during the sex scenes.
I overall had a positive reaction to it at the time due to how small the scene was way back in the day. But it did not age well.
I finished the game but not the scavenger hunt.

The only art in that game is a stupid tedious scavenger hunt that awards you with a literal gallery of random mismatched fan art of your waifus fucking animals, getting raped, or getting gangbanged. None of it involves you in any way, as it is not actually art made for this game. It is non canon and predates the game, and you can just download it all from the appropriate sites.

I make this rating short and simple.
It quite a game, well made and quite a bit of content. From side quests to random events.

But let me tell you, HOLY MOLY it a walking simulator! I spend most of my time walking around. And it really made it clear when you supposed to go to a tower, just to run back to a village, to later run back to the capital to later run to some catacombs.

I mean like, there is way too much walking and I have yet only gotten one sex scene.

Keep in mind this game came out in 2010. Play it as a JRPG and not an H-game and you will get far more enjoyment and mileage out of your play-through. Two hours to complete the main story (which is basically just a prologue for LoQO2) with over 15 hours of post-game content if you go for a near 100% run. You will also find better combat balance from the free LoQO series than you would from 90% of current gen pay 2 play H-games. Be warned though the game can get extremely tedious as there is a TON of backtracking and you're locked into a walking movement speed the whole game. NG+ also available.

I was playing this game for some time, then i found a prostitute and spent 1000 gold for a scene. But all that scene is just a BLACK SCREEN with sound.
Really awful for a "Golden Version" of a game.
This game is nothing compared to Princess Trainer Gold Edition.
Shame on the developer for this Legend of Opala thing.

Its not the Best LOQO game in the series and compared to many other Lews Games not even that great. But its a great RPG with a lot of Passion.
It has a lot of busywork and its rewards one for everything you do its a great game.
And the games After this in The LOQO are all even better and more amazing.

I'll start by saying that this game is severely flawed and broken. I did my first playthrough blind, without following the walkthrough too much like any gamer should be able to do, and I suffered for it. The only thing that I did as the FAQ said was to play the Good route first, without knowing that the Evil route had way more sex scenes.

And let's talk about the sex scenes, in the Good route only one of them is forced on you, the rest are optional and the game doesn't give you much help to let you know they're there. That in and of itself would be pretty bad already, but the worse thing is that if you progress too much into the story, you cannot trigger the sex scenes that you didn't view before. Which is exactly what happened to me, I blazed through the game with only one sex scene under my belt, fucking blue balls man. So after that I had to do the New Game+, for which I had to pay 40000 gold to buy a stupid item, a ludicrous amount of money because even after beating the game and its Final Boss I only had like 16000 or so. Therefore I had to sell all my items and equipment except for the best sword I had for the protagonist, which barely gave me enough money to buy the damn thing, so I wasn't even rolling on cash afterwards.

Seriously, what kind of retarded and shitty game makes you spend great amounts of money just to access the NG+? I'm playing an indie porn game, not an EA crash-grab piece of crap. This could have been solved if I just had picked the choice of receiving money for saving Egypt, but no, silly old me thought that having one of the Royal Bitches as my wife IN A PORN GAME would give me sex scenes. How naive of me, the only thing it gave me were some voice-only "sex scenes" with a black screen, bullshit.

OK, then I tried to go back to my old save before the credits to choose the money reward this time, but since facing the Final Boss is preceded by ANOTHER Boss, which in turn is preceded by a swarm of weak enemies, with no breathers in between... I lost only once before my patience ran out, I was just too tired of mindlessly pressing the C key for no immediate reward.

So I jump into the NG+ as a piss ass poor bastard with just a single weapon, which I discovered are kind of extremely important since if you don't have any equipped you do literally ZERO damage to all enemies regardless of your or their stats, UGH! Enemies also dealt more damage than they should to me because I had no defensive equipment whatsoever. And I couldn't just buy new ones because all the old weapons and armors sold at shops were replaced with the ones of the NG+, which even though are hella strong, were too expensive for me. Seriously, you just had to keep the old equipment there along with the new ones.

This game also suffers from a high amount of backtracking and walking a shitload to everywhere. The game world isn't that big compared to most RPGs, but for this game it is big enough to be a problem since there is no way to travel easily and quickly, like a lot of RPGs have been doing since time immemorial.

Another thing I can criticize of this game is its awful grammar. Mixing up "was" with "were" basically all the frigging time. And forgetting to add the "s" at the end of verbs that needed them. Seriously, some of this lines were even voiced, didn't the actresses know or care to correct whoever gave them the script?

I think that the only good thing I can say about this game after playing it is that there are no randomly generated battles, the enemies are there in the overworld, they're just transparent, which you can reduce with items you get in your adventure. This removes a factor that could have been incredibly frustrating.

The battle system is generic, it's not overly bad but it's not overly good either, it's just kind of there. The art is also not that great if I compare it to the work of other games like anything from Akabur, Four Elements Trainer and Something Unlimited. In my first playthrough I didn't get many illustrations, and I don't care much for them, because since they have so many different artists, quality and taste is all over the place. Not to mention that I came here to view actual sex scenes, and not just pictures, for that I could just browse the Internet and view them there, which the game kind of tells you to do since it gives you their URL.

Then let's talk about the post-game content... I didn't play it nor do I have any intentions to do so. Why should I? It has absolutely no porn content. I think that the maker of this game really forgot who their audience truly is. The RPG aspects of this game are NOWHERE near good enough for anyone sane to consider playing the game just for them. I know that some completionists out there or people who really liked this game must have played it, but I doubt that most have or will.

I really hope that the next two games on the series are MUCH better than this one, because my excitement is at its lowest point.

Cool history spiced up with arduous gameplay.

Honestly, I prefer games where the main character is a male character. Here, this assumption is very good, because green haired is a very characteristic person. The story presented in the game has a lot of potential, but it was suppressed by the tiring game. What's more, it's not that I complain about a small amount of erotic content - just from the very aspect of RPG, the game leaves a lot to be desired.

I believe that with this particular title, the author was too much carried away by fantasy - creating a game on the vision of an AAA game. However, he forgot about motor restrictions and those resulting from his or her team's skills. I understand, however, that the game is quite old and I know that the next parts of the game's cycle are much better, so I will not be so strict about the vision of the first part. I assume that if you want to prolong the game itself with an easy expense - you have to do it with moderation and an idea. Similar to the one in the second part of this game, where the core of the game itself has not changed too much, but also the same content is clearly more extensive and thanks to that a little cheer us the same wade through the slightly boring stages of the game. And here, unfortunately, you can not see it.

The very idea of "The New Game +" is an interesting way to play, but it turned out to be a failure because the content of this mode was not interesting enough to want to keep playing. Too much in this game is a struggle, to this arduous one - without much of any interesting mission.

The graphic page of the game is at a good level. The pictures are slightly exaggerated but cool and interesting, so they can be liked. You can see that the author tried to add to the game a few ideas from higher-end games - for what you should be recognized.

To sum up, I recommend this game only for persistent players - who are a bit more involved and can turn a blind eye to the artificial lengthening of the game. All the others I refer to the second part of the "Legend of Queen Opala" game, which is much better.

My favorite character from the game: the main character
    - by design, a bit of arrogant about a good heart who tries to be cool. Although we can manage his character, I liked the vision the most. I like the way of presenting his character in this game.
Gameplay time: ~ over 10 hours

    My rating: 3.0 / 5.0
