Is the game any good? How would you describe the game, or what big game is most similiar to this?

If you have never played Opala games before, then I suggest you start by playing "Legend of Queen Opala I" and 'Legend of Queen Opala II", as they are finished games.
I like the games that are created by Swegabe. There is a lot of content and if you are into Turn Based fighting and role playing, then this does definitely hit the spot. From time to time, you'll be asked questions which will have an affect on your companions and ultimately the ending of you game, hence reruns are a must for a full 100% completion.
Hi,
no i do not use the mouse. I simply cannot select anything. I can select to start a new game but anything after just won't do. I even donloaded a save game. In that save my character just walks down the map and i can't do anything.
Fixed it. Needed to start it from my PC. Before that i started from my external harddrive.

man what happened to this game? The other games and this one used to get good solid updates and stuff regularly. Now all we get is 5 min of content every 1-3 months. What a joke I cant believe the patreon is still pumping the creator money.

They would have to admit they gave a scammer so much money and since we don't live in japan where suicide is a way out to redeem your "honor" they have to delude themselves with lies and false hopes.
Just admitting they were wrong and a bad mistake was made is out of the question ofc. The antartica shall become another tourist magnet with white beaches, blue water and lots of hotels before that happens.~

After a time of getting comfortable, most devs think their work is sophisticated, thus they decide to work less hours for the same amount of money. Main reason is they don't feel competitive, under pressure. Patrons paying for their hobbies so they hardly think of how much those devs deserve. I expect game devs to have at least some ambitions and developments, after reaching milestones they should expand the team, buy more assets, etc... so that they can reduce the waiting time for a better quality content. Unfortunately, many have failed that, base on attitude and growth, only NLT can maintain his performance so far, others have been falling behind their initial competence.

You're clearly new to this game, the speed of LoQO games development was always glacial.
Gabe likes to retouch old content and add new characters (this patch we've had Duchess Lynevere replacing a different no-face NPC character, which meant re-writing and re-testing every scene and instance of her existing in the game + we've had a lot of older scenes being rewritten to make some sense for the two plot twists happening just now).
That being said I am not a supporter myself and I always criticized the atrociously slow development. Just hire some help or something if you're having problems - there was a plan to get an extra writer for the scenes at least (writing is very tedious).
there isn't but if you download wine stable and select "open with wine stable" it should work perfectly

It would seem that the bad ending at the Imperial Manor is bugged, it says it is unable to find file Graphics/Pictures/0003-background02. i am doing this with artstyle 2. as a Horseman, would like to know if anyone else might have encountered this problem and if they fixed it, or if this is something Gabe needs to patch
Just finished episode 3, so inbetween 2.18 and 2.19b there wasn't really any new scenes or were there? Not to mention that if you already interacted with the switches beforehand you would have to restart all of Darkthorn Keep since it didn't trigger the lift.
Seriously not trying to be rude or anything but this is a f***ing joke of game development - the one problem I started noticing is Gabe always adding new and unimportant characters.
Beatrix' daughter having this crystal fairy added exactly what to the story? Or replacing the one NPC with this mature duchess or whatever?
This is what I would call "stalling for time", you know to get that one extra month and to only have to re-edit older scenes which in its entirety massively slows down the production of newer story content.
Why did she focus on creating figurines of the female characters of the game when the product itself is not even finished?
Not to mention how outdated the technology is... why the hell can't we run A WHOLE LOT faster? Maps in this game are spacious and a pain to get through especially when you are inside of some room which means that you can't run.
Take other games like Roundscape Adorevia for example, which may be a buggy mess but the gameplay and engine itself is at least tons better than this game... (not to mention that with every update there are at least 3-5 more scenes at least)
And to everyone who says "Yeah then don't play this game" I got to say: this is what people call constructive criticism, if you feel hurt by mere facts you really should get out of your bias.

1. i started it and by my honor i will finish it.
2. I enjoy the story and characters so far, in fact i'm interested AF to know what happens next
3. the nsfw scenes are interesting and there's a lot of work put into them
4. if this is the end of the LOQO saga i want to see it through
what i'm saying is, i also don't precisely play the game nor praise it based on the mechanics, system or the updates...which is sad, because in a game those things are as important as the story. so i understand you, i share a lot of your opinions and quite honestly the management of the game could be a lot better.
When they actually happen at least. One of the biggest problems with the games has always been that the game at points like 80% art hunt 20% actual scenes. Hopefully Gabe is waiting to blow their load on the last episode or side quests or else it feels like the entirety of episode 3 CGs is just watching Laquadia get raped again (Not to mention the MC still has yet to properly fuck her) and then Kythe sucking off an undead smelling horse

Personally my favourite game was Legend of queen Opala I, later it became a lot bigger but that's mostly it, a few more scenes and be done.
Mechanically it hasn't evolved, we still can't run on all maps, the combat and everything else feels the same... at least the main story wasn't bad, but the grind increased a lot.
I love the characters and would love them to have more scenes, but having multiple versions of the game... for me it was bullshit, I don't think I have ever seen a game that has 3 or 4 versions of the same sex scenes.
Will keep dreaming that the game will get better on all aspects.

Unfortunately Laquadia is fucked only by bulls but i think that in the future also the protagonist will have fun with her, after all she is the most desired woman in the game.
