There’s nothing really new story wise in this update. The main story is moving forward slowly but I doubt it will be finished by the end of 2022. There are hints thrown about that it would take place in parts of the world not yet accessible. It will be a great game once it’s done but when will that be no one knows.

well do you really know the first deadline this game had? It's around 2018 at beginning.....and now this game can't even makes some progress through 6 month....

Opala never was the main character. It's similar to Zelda but she actually bothered to be around in a few games.

All caught up with the current story content, I've done the "Snap: Lynevere" side quest but idk how to get her as a photoshoot candidate in the atelier. Anyone know what triggers it?

When you open lewd boxes the game heavily prioritizes giving you the photo-gallery content. Once you have unlocked most of the photos, you will start receiving emeralds. In fact, in the late game gems are the only thing that you can get from the lewd box.
