I think there was research done at some point that showed that most women have at least some interest in sex with other women, even the ones who consider themselves straight (like they became aroused by other women and lesbian sex), in addition, I think there were some stats (possibly from pornhub, not sure), that showed that lesbian porn is very popular among women who consider themselves straight. What that tells me is there are a lot of women who just don't want to admit their true sexuality.
Apparently, gay (man-on-man) porn is surprisingly popular among lesbians for some reason.
Showed my girlfriend this one, and she went on a very impassioned (and very cute) speech addressing yall. Here is my transcription of it.

As for myself, though I agree with everything she said, I simply can't watch men in porn. I hate it. It gives me the ick. I want nothing to do with it. And I'm saying that as someone who is a 5 on the Kinsey scale (unlike my gf who is a 6). I will also add that I think there is an element of sexual rigidity in men and shame that prevents them from experiencing porn in that way.
So my understanding of the science is that ALL women are more attracted to masculine men around ovulation, and attracted to feminine men and women when further away from Ovulation. In a straight girl this is mostly an attraction to feminine men, but it leaves room for Bi-sexual attraction. In Lesbians when Ovulating they can be less interested in girls as they normally would be, attracted to butch Lesbians during this time, or in many cases have intense rape fantasies about men. They are not attracted to men outside a rape fantasy during Ovulation.
It kind of makes sence when you think that many cultures would have had polygamy at certain times, and the wives had to sort out the pecking order and get along with each other. So all women have some Lesbian in them, both as a dominance mechanism, and a coping with a (often forced) polygamous situation.
Okay, you are not completely wrong, but you are really oversimplifying this. When ovulating, your body is basically screaming at you to have a baby, and that can manifest in many different ways to different people: some may feel increased attraction to phallic objects, others might feel an increased attraction to more masculine features, some become obsessed with getting railed, and yes, some have rape fantasies (Which, I hope I don't need to say this, doesn't mean they want to get raped irl). It's psychological, I think, more than anything. You feel more attracted to things you associate with pregnancy and whatnot. My point is everybody experiences it differently, and saying lesbians are less attracted to girls when ovulating is a generalization and a misnomer.
