Use Joi play emulator. Just make sure to get it from the website and not Google play... the google play version is archaic from like 6 years ago and wont work

Yes the author has been dead for a while. Sometimes one of her dev friends that helps her with the game pops up and says she's still alive and working on the game but that was almost a year ago. Don't hold your breath on it.

Joiplay can't of doesn't work for me when it comes to renpy games. The vast majority of them don't work (I think there was only one game that actually ran). I doenloaded the patreon version later on and it's just worse than the one on their website. With it the majority of rpgm games also don't work for some reason. It shows webpage not available message when I try to enter some rpgm games that worked on website version.
Did you downloaded all plugins too? And if yes, you can ask at their discord about that

It is very grindy, but also very buggy, I have a legal version, and the amount of bugs is just unacceptable, but it's an issue with all this dev's games.
He also reuses assets from some of his other games.
So lot of bugs, lot of grinds, not a lot of content.

Not just nitpicking. It's a bizarre trend. Especially bizarre when having an ex-boyfriend adds nothing substantive.
After a particularly terrible release (Save the World) made my estimation of Winter Wolves go subterranean, I avoided their stuff for a while. I haven't gotten very far into Christine Care yet but it's not doing much to make me like them again. It feels rushed, has awkward dialogue and describes events in ways that don't make me believe them. Not even sure I care enough to continue.

I don't understand why they do that, if they wanted to mention an ex in the story it could just as well have been an ex-girlfriend.
As for Winter Wolves, you summed up my problem with them, their games look appealing at first but it's quickly ruinned by a boring plot and clunky dialogue.

It's because the sites founder is now writing it. Their most popular game, LtAP was written by another (better) writer-who's not returning to write the sequel. Same thing for some of his other older (better) games such as roommates and pre-dlc seasons of the wolf.
He's just not a very good writer, unfortunately.

Never been a fan of Winter Wolves, their game Summer In Triigue irritated me because it forced the MC to end up with one of five girls, and of them one was an abusive ex-lover, two others stole from her, another basically mocks her for being a lesbian, then acts all upset when you get annoyed by her comment. Really only one of the options isn't toxic (that nature tour girl), and even then, the game never gives the option of her just deciding to stay single for now. No, if you don't end up with the Nature girl, you had to choose one of the toxic options.
Not been interested i trying one of their other games, since I expect this kind of irritation will be something encountered often in their games.

I haven't played this game, but I know there's a lot of people out there who seem to only be able to find a relationship hot if it's also toxic. I wonder if one of them was a writer for it.
