Let's start by saying this:
1 - I abhor all forms of non consensual sexual contact or expressions.
2 - A child can't give consent. Also a sleeping person, or drugged, or in any way impaired person can't give consent.
3 - Fantasizing about obtaining consent from people that can't give it, is in itself a serious problem.
I'm not going to stand here and proselytize about thought crimes, because in the end, this is what is going on. All I can talk about is of what that means to me and leave it up to each of you to deal with your own conscience and decisions.
There's nothing explicitly wrong with the creation and reading of fiction depicting acts that we would never perform IRL. Many of us have spent hundreds of hours playing games where we kill hundreds of thousands of fictional people/animals/entities, without meaning that any of us is a serial killer or has such violent tendencies. From torture chambers built in the Sims, to whole sale genocides in Skyrim or in Fallout or even Warframe, I've done it all.
Why then do people react with such serious and strong reactions to the expression of sexual acts with minors? Because, even if you'd never (probably) never do it IRL, it creates the doubt of how far that is from reaching the level of acceptance for you. In other words, everyone then looks at that as indication that you wouldn't object to it.
To me, as a father of 4 (all grown and above the age of consent anywhere) it would be unbearable to be thought of as capable of it, not that I would ever be, but, the mere notion that someone, somehow made that inference is more than enough to make me think very carefully about that type of content.
Then there's the other side. The attraction side. I can't feel attraction for people too young. Hell, I struggle to feel attraction for women without pubic hair, or with too small tits (in spite of the fact that small tits can be VERY sexy). I've always preferred fully grown women. Always.
So, in essence, this MUST be a very personal choice. Just know that no one is inside of your head to know what are your limitations or intentions when found with that type of content, and that it is socially preferable to judge you harshly rather than kindly. Because the line is VERY tenuous and there's no way to know on which side you are.
Peace
