Came here to check on the "Toys" issue and I see it's under consideration. The one's a doozy cause you'd have to go so, so far back to fix it before Makoto gets cut off from interaction

Mod is amazing though, definitely makes this incredible game comprehensible heh

I'm not sure what you mean by "under consideration"? I added a warning to Toys letting the player know about the cut off for raising Makoto's lust.

I'm running CachyOS (Arch Linux Fork) using Steam/Proton to run LiL

Everything was running fine when I was running 4.8 version of game w/ 4.9 guide.
I then upgraded to 5.1 and the 4.9 guide quit working. So installed the 5.0 guide and now it's not displaying any of the hints.

I'm currently replaying a part in like 4.7 because of some things I've missed. None of the hints that were there in the 4.9 guide are showing. I don't know what to do at this point.

I have tested running olds saves and continuing current ones, none are showing hints. Progress however is updating. Sometimes I'll get a ! but it wont explain to me what it is.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the mod (From a fresh download). I've tried restarting the computer. I've verified it's installed properly. I genuinely dont know whats causing this. Especially since it went from working to not working.

Edit: Apparently the resolution was completely deleting the game, downloading it fresh, then reapplying the mod......... Wild. But at least its resolved.
Sometimes they disappear, you just have to keep playing for a bit, or roll back to an older save.

The changelog doesn't mention it but that was fixed. It now tells you way in advance, so with the guide mod you shouldn't miss the requirements for Toys

Does the patch even do anything to mess with the mod?
Haven't looked deep at the patch to see how he fixed it, I'll check in a couple of hours, but the problem in the first place was a mismatch of script event name vs the event content. It plays the tsubasa events in numerical scriptname order, but iirc tsubasaspring7 is the flashback event which is supposed to be the first event seen, instead it's the last.

Did Sel fix things by shuffling the text around and actually renaming the events in the correct order, or did he just rename the references in the missed events calculator. The red names were in the files but they didn't line up with the skipflags.

As far as I can tell from a quick look (and from Sel's announcement), the patch doesn't have anything to do with sequencing. He just fiddled with some of the flags for missing events when you're not on the Chinami/Tsukasa route.

In any case, the version of the mod here already takes the patch into account.

I was wrong too, the original 0.51 played / allowed the first Kaori streets event before you could see the Tsubasa chain, which had you call Yumi telling her Yuki is fine before meeting Yuki and learning she is fine, and the last event didn't make sense like that, and the lack of red event names correctly showing when they were supposed to made it too confusing. Now that I've replayed with the patch things make more sense.

Chika, Chinami, Futaba, Koari, Makoto, Miku, and Yumi are all broken for me in the "Girls" and "Progress" menus, causing an exception error each time I try to select their pictures or their names (It gives a NameError, saying it's not defined), but that is the only problem I've come across. Very helpful tool!

I just rolled back the bugfix patch and didn't get errors in the same spots, with the bugfix patch it also worked perfectly.

I would guess you don't actually have 0.51 of lessons in love installed (Or a more broken install due to incorrect update patching) but installed the 0.51 mod. The mod is very stable when the game updates without the mod updating, but I'd guess it breaks like that if you update the mod but not the game.

Ahh, I'm still on .50. Thanks!
