Does the patch even do anything to mess with the mod?
Haven't looked deep at the patch to see how he fixed it, I'll check in a couple of hours, but the problem in the first place was a mismatch of script event name vs the event content. It plays the tsubasa events in numerical scriptname order, but iirc tsubasaspring7 is the flashback event which is supposed to be the first event seen, instead it's the last. The wrong event playing first in the original 0.51 release and lack of context from anything else made it seem like event with the flashback was in the wrong spot. With context it's in the correct order

Did Sel fix things by shuffling the text around and actually renaming the events in the correct order, or did he just rename the references in the missed events calculator. The red names were in the files but they didn't line up with the skipflags.

As far as I can tell from a quick look (and from Sel's announcement), the patch doesn't have anything to do with sequencing. He just fiddled with some of the flags for missing events when you're not on the Chinami/Tsukasa route.

In any case, the version of the mod here already takes the patch into account.

I was wrong too, the original 0.51 played / allowed the first Kaori streets event before you could see the Tsubasa chain, which had you call Yumi telling her Yuki is fine before meeting Yuki and learning she is fine, and the last event didn't make sense like that, and the lack of red event names correctly showing when they were supposed to made it too confusing. Now that I've replayed with the patch things make more sense.

Chika, Chinami, Futaba, Koari, Makoto, Miku, and Yumi are all broken for me in the "Girls" and "Progress" menus, causing an exception error each time I try to select their pictures or their names (It gives a NameError, saying it's not defined), but that is the only problem I've come across. Very helpful tool!

I just rolled back the bugfix patch and didn't get errors in the same spots, with the bugfix patch it also worked perfectly.

I would guess you don't actually have 0.51 of lessons in love installed (Or a more broken install due to incorrect update patching) but installed the 0.51 mod. The mod is very stable when the game updates without the mod updating, but I'd guess it breaks like that if you update the mod but not the game.

Ahh, I'm still on .50. Thanks!

Small bug(typo?), the Kaori eevent Seas of White says it needs weekend evening, but it can be triggered any evening.

Sometimes they disappear, you just have to keep playing for a bit, or roll back to an older save.
Yeah I'm aware of that but that wasnt the problem this time. I even went much further back in my saves to replay part of the story, which is how I knew something was off. Events werent showing that were showing in a previous mod version that i KNEW where there. No matter how much I played it or loading different saves it wouldnt show events. Only redownloading the game and mod fixed it. I appreciate the advice though.

Sorry, is driving me mad; i hate Otoha so much and don't want to make Niki angry because her sorry ass, what are the apparent consecuences of "Taint the Sapling"? Or is it still unknown?

This would be a pathetic way to make your save red if you've done everything else. There are several events that just end early if you don't nude swap

Veeery technically it's not red path yet, but it's only a matter of time. There's no reason for Otoha to share a Rin nude outside of this trade ever so that would be lost forever. You won't have Otoha's number at current update. Otoha won't have the blackmail material to make a play in the future (and fail) without it, and I don't see Sel passing on that opportunity. This won't be something Akira and Otoha could use to bond over in a later Otoha event once we actually start going down her path.

Im stuck on main event "Theres nothing" i must trigger "turn off the lights" by inviting Maya over the weekend, however I get no specials scenes with her, how do i invite her? none of the other characters advance in their progression either, anyone has any idea of what to do?

Are you saying nothing happens? Or that something different happens. Unless nothing happens, just trust the process.

any idea when the v0.52 mod will be available?
Should be soon. I'm not sure why the public release hasn't happened yet.

IIRC, this update is pretty much automatic though. If you've done all the previous events, just make sure you've read Karin's text and it should start (there's a missable happy event, but its not that hidden; just make sure not to move on from the weird Sensei section at the end of the update until you've seen it).

This update is slightly weird in that it could have had mandatory lust requirements but the game has either given you enough lust, has required higher lust for a previous event, or hasn't given you the ability to farm the lust yet.

I don't know how important this is, seeing as how early in the game it comparatively.
But the event "Dyed Orange, Drenched in Sun" can be missed without any indication in the mod. It's a auto-event caused by the previous event "That One FMK Scene" and it's missed if you select 2 out of the 6 options in that fuck marry kill choice.
