So I've played the game for more time and It's extremely good, theres just this list of criticisms I would give it:
1. Explain the Tanuki mechanics better,I only understood them after a lot of trial and error.
2. The red crystal houses are sometimes impossible if you're carrying too much, based on rng. Sometimes carrying even just 4 lbs can be a death sentence.
3. Please make it so that when the giantess rotates, her next steps are more readable and less unpredictable; if I'm too close to her I can basically do nothing but pray.
4. Sometimes houses just... explode. For no reason.
5. Please balance the modifiers that raise the cost of the altars and the one that makes the giantess remain in the town at 800m+, all negative modifiers is nearly impossible because of them.
6. Sometimes I'll have a red crystal and not respawn.

Thanks a lot! The biggest problem for 2 is that the jump height still changes with weight, and also the key pieces are way too dim so they're pretty hard to find sometimes if I don't pay attention to where they spawn.

Alright, now that I've had time to play the game, and I really enjoyed it! It definitely has a long way to go but this is an excellent start, and it's super refreshing to see a giantess game actually try to have an interesting gameplay loop!

I'm not going to give all my detailed thoughts since I'm sure most of it has been already said by most people in this thread. However, I am going to mention something that popped into my head that's a bit niche, but I hope you consider.

I think it's safe to assume that this giantess is going to have a voice at some point - I'm NOT expecting her to have fully voiced dialogue or anything, but it would definitely improve the game if she vocalized a little (laughing when she destroys a bunch of buildings at once, sighing when she's annoyed by the player, yelping when hit by a statue, etc.).

If/when that does happen, a feature I'd really like you to add is a toggle that makes her voice deeper and louder as her size increases. I'm probably alone with this, but I find it much more immersive when a giantess has an extremely deep voice to match, given the size of her vocal chords and whatnot. It's something that's shockingly rare in giantess media, though. I'd love it if she sounded like a terrifying monster once she reaches some truly absurd sizes!

However, I know tons of people prefer it when giantesses sound feminine, hence why I'm suggesting this being a feature you can toggle. It shouldn't be too difficult to implement once she has voicelines - just have the option adjust the pitch, volume, and possibly the reverb of the sound files in real-time based on her current size. I assume Unity can do that?

Sorry for asking for this extremely specific feature - it's just something I find really neat but is extremely uncommon.

I can bring up this idea to him after we finish footsteps to see what we can do. I do warn that it is not a priority since custom sounds are pricey! However, I can meet you halfway for the time being and have the gts-bird-chimp-dialogue-sounds be deeper/louder on a settings toggle. If that interests you, let me know but I can't promise that feature for this upcoming update.

Oh yeah, I wasn't expecting her to get a voice anytime soon, I was just assuming that it's something in your long-term plans that will happen eventually. And sure, feel free add a feature to make the current sounds be deeper/louder - who knows, you might be able to repurpose the code for any vocal noises you add later!

In the meantime, take as long as you need to figure out how exactly to handle her voice (i.e. whether she will have separate voice files depending on her size or if they'll be the same files adjusted by the code) - there's no rush! Just knowing that you think it's a fun idea is enough, so I guess I'll wait patiently until it happens!

I have been meaning to ask something for a while, how do you feel about modding, would you consider ever supporting it? I would like to eventually work on GTS games and contribute something to the community. your game really peaked my interest and inspired me, so naturally i have been thinking about modding this game if anything. Of course this would be something that would be much further down the line with all the stuff you have planned already. Im also very much new to game dev stuff and with not much free time to spare right now so it would likely be a while for me to be able to do something half decent anyways.

on a side note, in case somebody did not know the unity store gives an asset for free every week for a publisher promotion. I learned that recently so I hope this info can reach those that can use it.

I used to mod Lethal Company a lot, so I can say that I love modding. Unity is relatively easy to mod due to Bepinix, as such I don't plan on adding any specific modding tools. However, my game may not be entirely mod friendly, but that's just like my gut-feeling.

Very cool. now I wonder what mods you made if any are public that is, ill be second guessing myself when ever i play modded lol. Ill definitely look into Bepinix and how i can work on your game in time. I have played a few unity games which i install mods with r2 modman with Bepinix in every pack, it seems like the go to with this kind of stuff. Ill let you know how it goes when i get to it.

Either way, mod support probably isn't something you think about seriously until the game's nearing completion.

The fetish content will mostly be size-based, petting, feet, stomping, butt-crush, gore (optional) kind of stuff. I only really have size-based, feet, and stomping at the moment. Though I only really say feet because it's the GTS' primary attack.
Farting is a hard no sorry. Face-sitting would be a dialogue event I think, but I don't know how I would design it. Maybe the GTS accidently sits on you and you have a brief dialogue scene? And that honestly sounds more like butt-crush than face-sitting.

If you put in those long-ago-suggested fairies that shrink the player down, you could have facesitting by them sitting on the player's face and shrinking them the longer they fail to escape. That'd be one way to do it. ;)

Not sure how much of an undertaking it would be, but having fantasy creatures/characters that must be dealt with while searching for loot(food) similar to lethal league would be fun.

Similar to what the previous poster said, fairies could be in some homes and if they get you they shrink you until you escape making your speed permanently lower. Maybe cute goblin girls are in some houses or areas and they follow you until you give them a food so they'll leave otherwise they punish you. Maybe slime girls are in some places and they catch you/slow you down/hurt you and leave sticky puddles. Stuff like that.

I agree fantasy creatures would be lovely. I have promised that I would implement them; however, I still have my backlog of animations that I need to implement which I still haven't been able to implement. The optimization stuff has kept me super busy the whole dev cycle.

Tried the new update, I have no criticisms about it, it's really good. Only, could you please add the option to bind an inventory slot to a key, and a lot of times in the lobby I cant find the giantess and reload the level because searching for her is a pain.

a very significant update, new levels to explore, a new menu display that looks more rap, there is an expression from the giantess when the player has a very large size at the start of the game. I really like the new foot stomping sound, the feature of choosing the size at the start of the game is also very much liked, especially the maximum size that can be up to 11,000 m is extraordinary special I like it. Btw nice sunset scenery

but I am a little confused with the "size lost on revive" feature. when the feature is at 0 then during the game the player revives, the giantess size decreases even though the indicator is already 0 at the start menu. is this a bug or not?

a very significant update, new levels to explore, a new menu display that looks more rap, there is an expression from the giantess when the player has a very large size at the start of the game. That's a bug. We just released an update that fixes that.

No problem at all. Also I was wondering if you could add back the old footstep sounds back in the next update. Or make an option to where we can change the sound to the old one or to the new one. I kinda like the old sounds since it sounds more natural.
