It's hard to put into words, what a pleasant surprise it was, to discover a fan-made game based on one of my all-time favorite titles. I genuinely expected it to disappoint me, due to its reuse of the original concept and lack of "brutality" compared to the source material, but I was thrilled to be proven wrong.
The art is stunning—at times it seems to pay homage to the original with its black-and-white style, but, in my subjective opinion, it feels overly polished for games of this type.
The sound effects and overall audio design aren't particularly atmospheric, but they don't detract from the experience either.
As for the concept and story, I'd give it an 8-9/10. It's more of a "what if" scenario related to The Exorcist Araki rather than a direct sequel or prequel.
P.S. I enjoyed this game far more than all of I'm Moralist's games post Exorcist Araki .
