RPGM - Ren'Py - Lida's Adventures [Ep. 3 v0.302] [Terebonkoff]

First of all i give this game 3 stars just because Lida is very attractive as a 3D model overall the game is like a walking simulator with dumb NPC blocking your way and pointless dialogue.

The story is just terrible with Lida being so retarded that she believes everything everybody says and i hate the fact that you cant change the outcome each time she will solve the problems by people disgracing her using her like a fucktoy and an never ending cycle of blackmail after blackmail.

Its just disappointing because Lida is portrayed like a good wife that she loves her husband and ends up being public disgraced in front of the whole city getting fucked behind trash can in my opinion this game cannot be saved

Ep 1 was okish... great start, not that great an ending.
Ep2 just bad... very bad... stupid walking sim, Lida is retarted beyond belief and the plot kind of goes nowhere (at leat nowhere interesting). Listen, I understand that this isn't meant to be realistic, but you're telling me that for a simple USB stick I had to spend 1.5 hours of walking through the poorly designed maps with pedestrians that keep movong and knocking into me and start telling me to give them money or what a beautiful f***ing day it is? Every single time???

Lida looks great, excellent I might say (against the plethora of Boobarella's arround the games I usualy play). The rest of the NPC's on the other hand... feels like a woke Hollywood movie cast (or a netflix special).

I won't even talk about the scenes... other reviews have done that way better than me

I heat RPGM and I love Renpy engine (but not the policy of renpy) ... and this RPGM is great the MC is awesome the story is interesting and the genre cover all my pervert needing as adult game. I play only Female Protagonist games because i love women even if she is saint or slut

There is only a problems the update are very rare -- the game starts in the 2016 now is at 0.9.0 version and it was updated in September 2019 I think I have to wait until the end of 2021 to see the last scene

There are no bugs in this version
many people claims for bugs but the only one should tha there is no a GAME OVER screen... but if you lost a quest or a hidden clue you have to start from about 2 or quests early... so SAVE... SAVE BEFORE any new quest and you will be able to play the game from the beginning to the last scene without problems

if you want a fast game that do not requires to stay focused this is not a game for you .. if you don't stay focused to the story and the text that are related with the story you will miss a lot of hidden clue that are required to progress in the story

One star means terrible, right? Well, this game is terrible. Let's get the good parts of the game out of the way first:

Pros

Lida is a very attractive protagonist.

There are situations and ideas which had the potential to be hot.*

This game's raison d'être isn't the stupidest I've seen on this site, so, yeah.

Cons (strap in, folks)

*Prepare yourself for some of the most hideous characters you've ever seen in a game that I... think... you're supposed to masturbate to. A few gross people would be standard fare for these types of games... but when all of them make you want to throw up... not good!

This game is the shiniest example for why people hate the fuck out of RPGMaker games:

- Entirely too much time spent walking around = check
- Spending too much time to walk to a location only to have the story say to you "I have to go do this other thing instead, silly me!" DESPITE FUCKING SENDING YOU TO THIS OTHER PLACE INSTEAD. So, more time wasted walking to another stupid ass location = check
- Knowing how much time you like spending on walking, wouldn't it be even better if you moved at a snail's pace in certain interior locations FOR NO FUCKING REASON?! = check
- Dialog boxes that you can't skip through which waste even more of your time = check
- Being forced to sit through shower and eating scenes, not once, but twice a day, that's fun! = check

Characters with insanely large penises so that most sex scenes are just fucking awful. Seriously, I could probably cope a lot better with how disgusting all the men are if the proportions were even mildly human.

Awful animations. Awful animations THAT JUST WON'T FUCKING END. You can't skip them. They. Just. Don't. Stop. The worst offender by far is the first update in episode 2. Between the boss at work and the final scene, fucking end me, man.

For the most part, the game is just on rails. You can choose not to do certain sexual things if you really wanted to turn this game into SimPedestrian.

The English in this game is.... it's kind of insulting to England to call the language in this game English. Sure, there are words that when looked up in a dictionary might appear to be English, but grammatically, yikes. I don't know how "cell" (as in prison cell) ends up being translated as "camera", for instance.

The second episode for some reason completely changes the map and how you navigate, and not for the better! You can just walk in one direction and you'll somehow be back where you started. Cool. Also, there's traffic which can hit and kill you! I'm all for a little Frogger when I'm trying to get my nut off, so I can appreciate that. :/

The first episode of this game, isn't that bad (all things considered). It's slow burning and centers around Lida's corruption, which is good for a corruption game... but for some reason she abruptly just kind of turns into a willing hoebag even though the story hadn't really earned it. It's kind of disappointing, from a narrative standpoint.

Summation

The most rage-inducing game revolving around walking around and fucking things. That being said, it is.. oddly compelling. Part of me yearns to see this unrelenting train-wreck through and gaze slack-jawed at the carnage.

The story, the writing, Lida herself have completely fallen... This has been a constant disapointment, it lost lost all meaning and sense, the plot is just random now and stuff is introduced just because

If you want to understand how to NOT make a game, Lida's adventures is perfect: inconsistent plot, terrible writing, poor gaming experience, dumb MC.
And the use of RPGMV.... useless plugins, npcs that bug you all time with crazy requests (not quests) or comments, dash not working (why???) and the same annoying issue that almost all the RPG Maker game do have: walk all around the map to do meaningless "quests".

Ep1 was great until v0.9
Ep2 was great until v0.3
After that with every update it went downhill. With every update the dev adds more and more plugins (some added twice) the dash is intentionally disabled in almost all the maps, the random talks have pauses of 2 seconds, between responces, weather effects that make the game slow down even more.
Probably is the only RpgMaker MV game that frustrates me so much that I refuse to play unless I heavily modify it (not the mods that I uploaded in the thread... when I play it I leave the bare minimum of plugins and becomes another game altogether)

Bottomline nice story, nice renders and the worst possible implementation of the RpgMaker MV engine...

Please, any really talented dev could steal the 3D model of Lida and make a good game with it? The 3D model is AMAZING. But the game is awful.

The RPGM engine is terrible and is used by Terebonkoff the worst possible way. You need to circulate around the terrible map for HOURS (literally) doing stupid, long and boring tasks to see a scene that 90% of the times is dissapointing. The writing is awful too. Lida and the rest of the characters seems to be retarded, they don´t feel like real people at all. The story doesn´t exist, is just one scene without sense after another. And the cherries on the top of the cake: bugs, bugs, bugs and machine-translations. Playing this game is not funny. Is nerve-racking.

This game has about +300 patrons. It doesn´t deserve 3.

Again: please, someone with talent steal the 3D model of Lida and make a good game.

Probably decrease scenes about those dogs thingy, I think it would've been better if that blonde girl taught Lida more about exhibitionism or something like that. Lida should also have more clothing options. In total, the story plots are quite good but I really hate the bugs and such, its really been a big problem. Also about the forest thing when she chasin those thief, it shouldn't be those dogs tryin to rape her, maybe the robber got some sort of gang which try to strip and rape her out but then the dog helped her out which is more logical and relatable to the whole point about her chasin those thief. Also, after she had that crazy berries at the forest, Lida would probably or normally go for a doctor, which you can relate it to the nurse who was at the office. Well Lida need money and probably she can't afford those medical fees maybe, so that nurse can help her with the money somehow in return for something, y'know... Well I just think that might make more sense. I mean she ate some berries like its some sort of drug, and almost got hurt in the forest and got fucked by a dog, she would probably go for a doctor if she is normal right !? Well thats what I think that should probably happened.

Ep2 is terrible... No choices, boring activities, and so much stupidity... And for gods sake - i'm not too god in english, but this... this is the worst translation EVER made!

It's quite surprising that developer of this game has so much patrons...

-Animations, most are 2 frame animations, altough ep2 there was a good animation on the beach.

Ep1 is good.
Lida, she's a nice girl with a monkey brain but meh.. story was ok in the 1st episode.
2nd(0.7) one story is bad, Lida gets more stupid, corruption? what corruption? played 5 hrs for her to get raped a few times and watch some other girls.

In a scale from 1 to 10 this is a 9 for the walking simulator, you have to run all around the town for no reasons, you have to eat, bath, you have to buy food, further you have to go from one town to another to buy food, or you have to pee otherwise she will pee on herself, you have to do farm work every day..
Story is slow and maybe I would continue to play but all of this shits made me to delete the game. Not really much corruption, sex content and a lot of "The Sims" . Downloaded the game for the lewd scenes if I would like to play a life simulator I would play another game.. oh well.

Bestiality.. not my type but still maybe others likes that.

Male characters.. all came from a horror story, hobos, fat bastards, maybe one or two are ok.
Females.. good enough, Lida looks great.

Few words:
Good enough story, very slow corruption, life/walking simulator.

Opinions on episode 2.

• Main character looks good. Slightly thick with boobs to match.
• Every other character looks bad., especially males. Two exceptions but they are non sexual characters, so who cares if they look good.
• Personal preference but big boob on EVERYONE looks retarded. The teenager looks like a barbie doll, that's a negative.
• Plot is slow moving from episode 1. Need money to find my husband and keep my house. This is fine vehicle for corruption but it's not used properly. She has to pay off a huge debt, but takes a minimum wage job and seems ok with it? Failed and missed opportunity.
• Writing is low quality, syntax wise.
• IMO pacing is to slow, not that many sex scenes after doing almost all the content.
• Grindy and repetitive. OMG this is 11/10 bad.
• I feel the corruption reset in chapter 2 and and the MC is a prude again, yet having sex with a hobo... It's not a good choice.
• BAD 3 image animations. Having more pictures not these fake animations would make this game sexier.
• Bestiality... Personally not a fan so it's a negative.
• Game size is bloated.

Overall this just falls into the garbage pile. I don't give it a 1 lightly. The grind makes 30 minutes of story into 6 hours. NO JOKE 6 hours! While some might like the art style, I think it's gross (outside Lida who gorgeous). The bestiality is only somewhat avoidable, and if you choose to avoid it the writing implies that the stuff still happens. You would think Lida would be desperate enough do more sexy things... but nope. Worst offender is the grind. Going to work every day for the same events, over and over and over and over and over and over and over is repetitive and boring.

Episode two is 1 star quality.

after the long wait, i get confused of what to do, the dev can not expect us to start over, the game is not "that fun". after walking around to do this and that, theres 1 event and end of version? after so many months?. no this is not what this "kind of games=low quality=just for fun=rpgmv" games should be about. its about fun, and it should be easy to play and not that you need to start over. i get it, sometimes you need to fix old crap, but if so, better tell the player u "need" to start over and give us "fast-forward" commands to skip content.

This game is just not for me. I was enticed to try it because of the pictures posted, but most of them involve sex with attractive men, so I suppose you see that eventually. The story has its funny moments. The renders of Lida are gorgeous, but too often she's paired with really ugly renders of other people. Sadly, this is deliberate. They're not just poorly rendered. They're intentionally rendered to be ugly and/or fat.

I know the "she's so gullible" is supposed to be part of the humor, but, the female protagonist that is dumb as a box of hammers grows stale after a while. There's also a very linear quality to the storyline that gets annoying after a while. Her choices just mostly don't matter and the circumstances she gets into, though funny at times, start to stretch even the most incredulous.

Also, the constant requirement that she have sex with ugly and/or fat old men just doesn't appeal to me visually. I'm not at all aroused by that. I lost interest after the smelly, homeless, old man tricks her into giving him mouth to mouth in the park, and when he starts french kissing her <shudder> . . . and she doesn't recoil in abject disgust . . . that was it for me. There are just too many scenes involving that guy. The sex with "Mommy" wasn't arousing either.

I know there's an audience for porn involving disgusting, ugly or fat old men, I'm just not it.

I have wanted to like this game from the beginning. There is a lot to like; Lida is hot and the underlying story is pretty good. The MC's husband has been taken for what seems like gambling debts and the MC is being blackmailed to help facilitate his release. From there, one can see a whole lot of possibilities to put the MC into a variety of compromising positions.

All of this would be great if the developer knew how to write. Some of the things in Lida's life seem to have been well thought out while others seem to be just an after thought. It is almost a stream of consciousnesses way of development. For example, in the early stages, it is important to buildup the whoredome stat but then later it is no longer important. Then there is the guy who "suddenly remembers he knows martial arts" or when the new, buff and 18 yr old Sam mentions, in the middle of his blackmail pitch, that there is a new circus in town and Lida should go and check it out.

I could almost put up with the crazy storytelling if the English and the grammar were decent, but it is so bad in places that it is distracting. The party at the bar is unintelligent. It's almost like the developer just made up a new language. The bus driver was hysterical as he ranted like some kind of crazy person speaking in tongues or something similar.

I will say, there is a ton of content, and if you can make it through all the crap, there is a good base hidden underneath. The developer seems to put a lot of work into it, but he needs some help. The final straw for me was the release of ver 6 when I had to use an executable file to "install" the game, only to find it full of errors. To fix it, I had to download the missing files from the Russian version and drop them into the correct folders. Then the game introduced a "new and improved" Sam who, at 18, wondered why his father was not home from fucking the whores.

Maybe I will come back when it's finished, but based on his track record, the developer only ever moves forward and I do not see him go back to clean up the sections of the game that could use some attention.

The Story is all over the place usually you do one thing in a place then Lida ends up naked having sex for some weird reason. Next you go to a completly different place and you never come back again. But the ppl always say "uh she is dumb, Im gonna use her again". Even if she gets raped and she tells the police about it "they used all my holes", you dont have the feeling anything has a lasting impact on her. After 3 mins she has forgotten everything and ends up naked with another guy. But the images look nice and Lida looks good. I would describe Lida's personality like "barely enough braincells to breathe and handles abuse like a 4 year old child would". All the men/boys in town instantly abuse or rape her, "normal" people don't exist in this game. In the real world someone like Lida would end up in a home for mentally disabled people after 1-2 days.

I couldn't get past the insane logic (or lack thereof) of the game's progression. The stilted dialog and bizarre ugliness of most of the characters weren't helping things either. I never even made it to the point of finding clothes for the bum before giving up.

This game is brilliant. I have not seen any other game of this kind (lewd) that put so much effort in the details, like every day ingame the map looks different (other people on the streets doing completely different things) and gets expanded too. Also the tasks the MC has to perform are diversified and there are a lot of moments when you THINK you know whats next, Wrong!
Teasing and pleasantly wrong I d say. Also thes quests are nicely thought throu and you dont feel like doing the same thing over an over again. The pictures are quite good and the story comes up with lots of characters who all serve a purpose. We see a variety of sexual fetishes like animals, ugly, handsome as well, prostitution and so on.
There are also some animations in it, its overall just very well done with a lot of "love" for the details and a lot of content, which makes this game a great thing.
negative? few things.
You do a lot of runnging around, at some point some shortcuts would have been nice.
And the (amount of) actual choices you can make is rather low.
The translation really needs to be improved, in a lot of moments you feel like only someone having a stroke would talk like that.
Its not all perfect, but I still am overwhelmingly positive about this. Its just great!
