Looks like it. I can't get it to work. There are quite a few posts that suggest it. It makes a difference because the rent keeps on going up and you can't get discount and cash is hard to earn and if you don't have cash, you can't buy the stuff to progress the game...

This error appears on the go to work widget on the left hand menu when working at the flower shop after 50 days.

Yes, you are right, it's free and we don't have the right to complain much if it's free. I get it. Sorry for the moan. No hard feelings I hope.
I really like this game, always have. I like sandbox games the best, particularly those with lots of grind in. (No, I don't know why either. Some like red cars, some like blue ones...)
All I was trying to say was that an in-line quest system would help. It may also cut down on the number of posts that you have to reply to - The ones that say: "How do I progress..." A quest system would field these questions for you.

...And again I say Happy New Year. I hope it's a good one for you.

I noticed the post about the widget that appears on the LHS to prompt you to go the florists. I think it's when the looks increase above 24. So if you're at 24 and you go for a shower , the icon goes from RED to error message.

- I can't seem to unlock new events after a while... I seemed to have maxed out donny studio and in the stripclub I can only do lapdances. How to unlock more content ?
- I seem to remember beinbg able to unlock flowershop and library jobs but I never get the option to work ther. Is there something specific to do ?
- I know you unlock new places by walking around but I've been walking all over amesterdam and nothing new unlocks. Again, how ?

Ye, the widget should be fixed now (next version). It was due to a typo in the formula ermm I mean code. just forgot 1 letter/character and boom it results in an error.

- Basically lapdances are the end of that story for now. I'm hoping to release the remainder of the Strip club in the next update. Not sure though if it will work. Donny's studio maxes out the moment Lizzy gets replaced with a new fresh cherry.
- Likely your reputation is too high. They should tell you that if you are trying to get a job there. Make sure to lower your rep (Go to church), or simply start a new game and apply for a job there.
- Depends what you have and have not unlocked yet. The main places to unlock are: Trouw (the club), Dance Studio, Health Club, Sex Shop. You've probably not seen Faoud's hideout yet, but that is only at the end of the Flower route. Or Madiba at the beach? Check out the hints section for some help. Though the Hints section is a WIP, so you may find some characters lacking a description.

So anyone have any idea how to get a alarm clock so the main character can wake up early? A lot of jobs require it so the player does not over sleep to 9 AM. If the alarm clock can only be obtained by some random encounter to unlock a electronic store then that is a major cripple effect on the player.

The phone screen is also not displaying any options when I already have the phone. If the Alarm clock is linked to the phone then the phone screen needs to be repaired or else players will not be able to play the game properly due to how all jobs require the player to have access to a alarm so the character does not over sleep to 9AM.

I cannot recommend this game currently if the clock alarm is not working since players need it to maintain their job so they can maintain money to avoid a Game Over. Unless the game has a natural way to avoid this issue by just having the player sell their body for sex or other means to completely avoid the rent pay process that lead to a game over if failed to meet weekly requirements.

As for the Henry path, until next patch, is there a way to artificially advance the story with a console command ? Like there's a variable named $HenryTask, maybe changing some values or is it something more complicated ?

1. According to hints Madiba is supposed to appear at the dunes after two beach encounters, well he didn't. Am I missing something?

2. Beach party invitations don't always show up as an option to actually go to the party.

3. No sex museum appears.
