Ren'Py Life in Windvale a NTRS and Swinging game (Development Thread)

Welcome to the development of 'Life in Windvale'​

This Game will use AI Images generated by me (anime-style).

Hi, this is my first time making a game. The game will be really simple. It will use renpy and have different paths. The content will be mostly Netorase and Swinging after the story is established. It will take place in a small town farm close to the sea. You will be living with your 23 year old wife. You can can change both your character's and wife's name.

Each release of the game will be free after 1 week from patreon release. I intend to finish the game in a year or year and half, with a ver releases once a month.
(looking for about 30 to 40 minutes of gameplay)

Ver 0.1 will be released middle or end of next month , it will not have early access. I will upload it here at the same time as patreon.

Are you going to pay attention to consistency in the images? No six fingers, etc...
The images you show are pretty good.
My problem with AI is its flatness. In most cases, it's like we went back to making sprites that don't blend in with the background.
There are some games out there that are making big leaps in quality.
I know you're new to this, it's just something to consider.

Thank you, these are just the early concept images. I am working to make them consistent by using lora's and other techniques by making the background the same. Please look forward to ver 0.1. I can show more improved images. But, if I were to post them all I would give away some of the game images.

I do. The second image was generated to show that I can make changes, the ai upscaler I use can sometimes causes artifacts. But generally I do check when coding it to renpy.
What happened above was me rushing through it and panicking that somebody actually replied .

This would be a more final image.

I still don't like how her eyes look. It need to be refined some more but that requires time. My PC is not that good.

Yeah, depth of field and angles can be tricky. But I don't know anything about AI creation.
I'm a proofreader here, so if you need help with that, contact me. It's a hobby, so I don't charge anything, but I'm not a writer; I just make translations/dialogue more readable.

Thank you, it is a lot of trial and error. Which is time consuming. Not as much hard work as actually drawing. I will be honest if I get enough funding, I want make a version with regular artist. But I am broke after 2 years of unemployment. Also I can't draw for shit .
