VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Life is Good [Deamos]

The art is good but not the best I have seen within F95.
The story is a bit strange but no more than other VN I played.
The plot could be more elaborate but I had fun playing yhis game!
My two cents...

Eh... the story is okay somtimes it felt really terrible like it wants to build you up but it can't because its just not that good.

The models are really good but the scenes and the build up to those scenes are really bad.

You can't really get a harem. You can only get the sister or the mother and the scenes are not worth it so you really really only get the sister or mother since you won't feel willing to play it again.

You can play it and just shift through it really quickly though since its so short. I wouldn't give it much of a chance though.

Review of final version

An unoriginal and convoluted game that rips off many story elements from various porn games and sci-fi movies. The MC's family rents an abandoned apartment and the MC stumbles into some form of military experiment with mind control? I'm not really sure because the story makes very little sense.

It looks like most choices lead to either a sister or mother path, both of which are essentially the same. There are many "Game Over" traps too. The models are switched out and many scenes are literally the same - the only difference is one has the sister model and the other has the mother model.

The story doesn't make any sense and directly contradicts itself at times. It's not clear which of the character's actions are due to mind control and of their own volition. There is some attempt at mysterious intrigue, but it is so poorly written as to be completely bewildering. The ending is rushed and makes no sense. It's simply an excuse finally to fuck the mom or sister.

According to the MC, women are either "ugly" or sluts and bitches waiting to be fucked. There are juvenile attempts at humor but it's eye-rolling and embarrassing rather than funny.

The model for the mother is hot. Beyond that, there's very little to recommend in this game. I wish I had spent this time playing something else.

Not recommended

I like the complexity of the plot but the story is short. The characters especially the minor ones should've had more development in their own stories.Characters like Melody or the MC's dad or even the neighbours. It would've been great to add more stories to them. Personally, I kinda hoped that I would get to fool around with Melody.

I liked the story line, even though it was a little confusing in parts. On the whole, good gameplay and nice graphics. Some of the puzzles were not as straight forward as they appeared, but very entertaining.

Plot is too complex with the brain absorber. MC is too much of a jerk that you actually feel pathetic playing this game. CGI shows potential but the game is essentially randomized power opportunities turned into screw whoever's nearby and control them and treat them like sex-dolls.

Excellent game. Extra ordinary plot. Realistic in all senses including incest sex and basic story. Realistically story builds up so does the relationships having no unnatural rush like jumping on and having sex. The main character is not over heroic that he starts fighting with military. Superb! It's like romance with Mom and Sister. The additive is that there is no boring mini games. My sincere wishes on developing such a game. Beautiful artistic graphics espacially human bodies. Keep up the good work dear!!!!

Pretty graphics, several paths, a LOT of sex and nakednes.
Although not very clear, there are several paths you can take. This means the game can be replayed atleast 3 times with different outcome. It has also some action elements and side (fuckable) characters. Highly recommended!

conclusion: this was a entertaining game to play. the story was short and thats cool. is easy to replay to get all the alternatives options.

- The story is just an excuse for the porn. poorly thought,full of holes,like pople talk about stuff you never discussed and everyone act like you did. main character is an imbicile. if you are here for a immersive story you choose the wrong neighborhood muther fucker.
i could go in to the details,but i'd rather write summarised review.

- sex scenes are subpar at best,there is nothing special in them. feels rushed and booring.

- you can basically CTRL the whole game and won't lose anything.
3 stars only because it's complete otherwise i'd give 1.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs...

(12/28/2017 - Original Review - v0.5.1)

This visual novel/game started off very strong with the story and plot, but has some moments were the story seems a bit rushed... This VN/game does include the overused Family Sex stuff...

The visuals for the characters are very good and most appear to be unique, with more realistic body shapes... The backdrops are also very well done, and I didn't recognize any of them, and that is always a plus... There are some short animations now and then, and they do appear at just the right moments...

The script was well done with very few spelling/grammar errors that I saw... The story starts off strong and has a fun and interesting backstory and mysterious plot... The male protagonist and his family have moved into a new home, for far less money then the home appears to be worth... The actual purchase and move in to the home happened so quickly though, even before papers were signed and payment was made, which was a bit immersion breaking, but I just went along with it...

Shortly after moving in, the protagonist gets some unusual visions that are followed by odd behavior of characters around him... He eventually surmises an ability to influence/corrupt others around himself for brief periods of time... As the story progresses, the protagonist is confronted by lots of other intrigue and mystery as the plot develops...

Eventually though, the number of sex scenes highly increases, and the plot begins to suffer now and then... With this increase in sex content, the story begins to take on a yo-yo effect, with the story going by too rapidly then slowing down to a normal pace again, followed by the story moving too quickly again, etc... This become a bit distracting and I believe hurts the over all story telling experience of this VN/Game, which started off very strong... Story events eventually started to play out too quickly... Almost like a fly by plot scene... Leaving the reader with more questions then answers about what is actually happening sometimes...

Overall, I really enjoyed this Erotic Visual Novel/Game, and was hooked by the good visuals and deep/creative plot... The sex scenes just began to come on too rapidly, sometimes being just short events, and then the story elements would also fly by rapidly, followed by normal story progression, and it all just kept that up and down feeling, which sometimes left me feeling either confused or wondering what direction the story was actually going...

I think this VN/Game has a lot of potential, and is still in the middle of it's development... But I'ld like to see the deep story of the first half+ continue through out the VN/game rather then becoming so infatuated with the sex part of the story, that the rest of the plot suffers... Only time will tell, but I'll revisit this one a bit later into it's development to see if some of the issues get fixed or if it continues with it's current trends... I wish the author/s the best of luck and I did enjoy reading/viewing this one...


(02/02/2018 - Review Update - Complete)

I don't know what happened to this visual novel/game, because from the last time I played it till this moment, the current content just flew by... It almost makes me think the author/s just decided they no longer wanted to work on it, and just started throwing an ending together really quick, slam bam thank you ma'am, done... Don't get me wrong, all the content from v0.5.1 to the end stuff made sense, but it just went so rapidly... I should have seen it coming though, because I was wondering why near the end of the content from my last play through, everything started to feel rushed... But this new content was very definitely rushed...

I guess I have to give the author/s credit for at least giving it some sort of happy ending... At least the protagonist's family was alright and he still had his love affair in the end... I just wish they would have put a lot more time into it all, because it showed such potential before... Because of how fast the story just rushes at you as the reader/player in the content added since I last played, I was really truly disappointed... But, if they felt they just wanted to end it and move on, I can't really be angry, just disappointed...

Overall, this new content revolves mostly around finishing the VN/game up, tying up loose ends, giving some closure to the whole thing... But it was so darn rushed, and again the erotic scenes also felt rushed again... I just wish it would have been better and had more work put into it all, as I was enjoying the story up till it began running as quickly as it could towards ending itself... There is no reason to do another play through, as I don't want to re-live that disappointment again... I wish the author/s the best of luck on future projects... Hopefully they will not make the same mistakes on those, that they did with this one...

This game starts out with a lot of promise... then quickly tanks the story into the standard - "you have special powers and can make women obey your every whim"... No .... really... that is the story. There is no build up... just a red screen and whatever you think comes to pass. Ughh...

Game elaborate. It is worth playing through two lines. Other special play through July with Mom and other mal-because much different and there are many things left out. I look forward very much to go on.
