Seeking Light-hearted Comedy VNs / Games

Hi guys!

I recently played a few fairly dark vns and normal games back to back and need some type of palate cleanser vn preferably. But it can be a game with gameplay as well. And i know this will happen in the future again too, so if you folks have a list of these kinds of vns / games it would be even better!

What i'm looking for is some light-hearted comedy game. No rape, no ntr nothing dark in it.
And it has to be short, as in 2 - 10 hours long at most.

You can try My New Family as well.
Of my games, Love of Magic is epic urban fantasy; it can get dark a times, but good will triumph. And Paradise Lust pure Leisure Suit Larry throwback porny goodness with no real darkness of any kind.

Well, actually, it's quite interesting that the best jokes I've seen come from the VNs that deal with darker real life topics. Leap of Faith and Avalon are some other top of mind examples. Probably this comes along with an overall well-thought and well-written story.

Leap of Faith and Avalon have dramatic rather than comedic plots.
Sure both of these games have occasionally funny dialogue, but I would rather not classify them as light comedy VNs.

Yep, exactly what I'm talking about. I never meant to label them as light-hearted. I just note that dramatic and darker VNs (in my personal experience) tend to have better humor - even compared to VNs which are designed to be funny in the first place.

That might be the case, but i wanted to use the light-hearted vanilla stuff as a way to clear out the "taste" of the dark ones.
So that is why i worded this request topic like i did ;-)

"Light-hearted vanilla" sounds like a run of GGGB while deliberately choosing to be the most wholesome female protag ever.

Was about to post the same question... cried my eyes out after the recent release of Leap of Faith. I go for the story driven VNs normally, and right now... I just need something light hearted.

My suggestion would be WVM, although not sure if it fits the "short", there is a lot of content. It's an idealized harem basically, almost everyone loves the MC. #teamHarper But I've played it. Going to check out some of these others to see how they are.
