You misunderstood my post. I mentioned nothing about me or my character's preferences. I was replying to someone who found it odd how many people were anal virgins.

My point was that , if many of the regularly horny NPCs well into adulthood in the world of Lilith's Throne haven't lost it yet, you'd clearly think that to be by choice and not by lack of opportunity. So that's why their eagerness struck me as strange.

The two ways to beat Meraxis, get her to put the ring on or beat her her in a fight.

So you beat a 30th level character who uses one of the most powerful weapons in the game in a straight fight using an 18th level MC wielding only the basic Opaque Demonstone? I mean, that character you were using only has 121 health, no shielding at all and you haven't even spent any of your perks (unless you reset them). A single hit from Meraxis' scythe could have instakilled you and the fight must have taken several rounds.

What am I missing here?

When they first added the penis modifiers to clits, I told myself I would wait until they enabled clitoral penetration before starting a new game. I think that was like two years ago. I don't think they've done anything on it since then. I was really excited too....

My guess is they made the easy part, then realized it was a lot of work to make a clitoris do everything a penis does (but only sometimes). It probably would have been less work if they made clits over a certain size just become a penis with some extra description, but then characters couldn't have both so....

Horses for courses, I suppose. I've never been interested enough in "clitoral penetration" to make a character with a clit that big.

Given that this game has only a single dev, it comes down to priorities for me. What is the more pressing priority, catering to the small minority of degenerates who want their fictional MC to be able to fuck fictional NPCs with their clit, or catering to the vast majority of degenerates who want the game to expand to Elis and the goddamn Foloi Fields so that they can indulge their perversions on a larger canvas?

While it would certainly not be a dealbreaker for me if Inno made clitoral penetration functional, if she doesn't get the game out of Dominion and get the main story moving again, she's going to hemorrhage subscribers. If that starts happening, it's only going to be a matter of time before the money she makes from developing the game shrinks to the point that it she can no longer treat developing it as a full-time job. At which point, LT joins the long list of abandoned smut games.

Which I think would be a pity.

At some point, the entire system is going to have to be overhauled and streamlined anyway. She's much better off pushing forwards to a playable v1.0 then leaving something this specific to v2.0 when she has a full overview of how to do such an overhaul. And, as SqueeNoEvil mentions, you can just give a female character a dick.

The weird part isn't that they're lacking usable clit-penises. It's that they were planning to add them a while ago, and added enough transforms to make it seem like you should be able to, but never actually finished the feature. I spent a bunch of time a while ago thinking I was just doing it wrong, and it sounds like other people got tricked into trying to get it working too.

80% of the results come from 20% of the effort. It may seem the feature is almost done, but in reality the amount of work that still remains may well dwarf what's already been done.

I would suspect, though this is just a guess, that a large amount of the difficulty implementing clitoral penetration comes from how to stop every character with a clit from trying to fuck people with it. After all, the game occasionally has characters trying to tittyfuck characters with no breasts. And succeeding.

I suppose it is necessarily finnicky, esp since I only really wanted it to fill a kind of retractable clit-dick niche a-la viper gts and other hentai of the like. I definitely understand how trying to get NPCs to react sensibly to it would be a nightmare.

Isn't the pecfucking thing intentional?
It doesn't sound hard to deal with at all since it's written in an OO language.
Haven't looked at the game's architecture so for all I know it's a YandereDev-tier mess but the AI can in theory just test something like "if (player.GetChest().GetSize() > 0)" to only enable the action if there are tits present. In the same sense you could just test the character's clit size before executing the function.

OO doesn't necessarily make things easier. I'm going to guess that clit doesn't have an is-a relationship to penis and doesn't work with the current PenetrationManager class. But that's easy to fix by refactoring all cocks into using the ICanPenetrate interface and separating DickFactory into a singleton static class. The real issue is that people will probably be upset that the penetrative size difference flavor text doesn't take into account clit size when calculating lust gains and fundamentally breaking enjoyment of the game for everyone who plays it.
