(Pretty sure I'm supposed to avoid talking too much about the game's development, so I'll leave that part out.)
It's a sex sandbox RPG. Plot happens, you're dropped in a demon world (with surprisingly few demons), and the city you start in is basically the capitol of the world.
I have some problems with how this is all set up:
Problem #1: The plot is that you want to go home, but YOU the player don't WANT to go home, most people who play porn games WANT the porn, so the only way to advance the game's plot is to set aside your interest in all the sex you could be having, and follow along the plot to go find Arthur, or whatever his name is.
Problem #2: You're plopped down in a city that already has everything your horny little heart desires. Clothing stores, a wide variety of things to fuck, an entire slaving mechanic, a huge-ass mansion, etc.
Why should you care about what new areas the dev will add to the game, when everything you want is right there in the starting city?
Most of these kinds of games drop you off in Bumfuck, Nowhere and have some NPCs point to the big, scary city and say "THAT is Sextopia, if you want sex, go there", and YOU the player make it your mission to go there so you can be rewarded with all the lewd you want, and you have to go through all sorts of lewd adventures to get there... but no, this game just hands it all to you, and again, wants you to set aside all this so you can advance the plot, for whatever reason.
Problem #3: Deep as a puddle, wide as an ocean. You can turn into an 8-armed succubus with four tails, 7 dicks and lactate beer while cumming vanilla cum. Does it change anything? No.
This universe hates humans; does anything happen if you stay human? No, outside of one (1) scene that I'm not sure has even been added to the game yet.
You can give yourself a dong the size of the Statue of Liberty... but you can still insert it into anyone just fine, because the game doesn't keep track of whether or not something will fit into something else, despite there being an orifice elasticity stat.
The only difference between fucking a human character and a character who's a cat-dog-satyr-reindeer-angel-demon-tiger-puma-wolf is that you can enable a setting in the options menu that lets you be fucked by their tail.
Problem #4: Your character is too powerful in-lore. Your character has the powers of a high-tier demon; cool, right? Well, it means you're practically unstoppable in 99% of scenes in the game; nobody can hypnotize you, you can break any weird curses anyone puts on you, you can enchant your equipment, or curse stuff to put on people, etc. Pretty infamously, some idiot paid good money to have their overpowered OC self-insert added into the game, and said character had powers that don't make sense, could somehow trick your practically-omnipotent character, and could somehow outrun you if you defeat her and was somehow able to get away if you try to rape her, despite your character being faster, stronger, smarter, and more magically capable than basically everyone in lore. There was a massive, justified shitfit over the garbage character, and she was eventually removed (I think).
TL;DR: your character is so powerful in-lore that the only way to challenge you is to add some stupid OC donut steel, and she was removed anyway.
Problem #5: Despite there being all these attacks, numbers and stats to juggle, combat is 100% "big number vs smaller number" and that's it. You mash your best ability, they mash theirs, whoever has the best stats wins. Literally every fight on every difficulty. Sure there's some cooldowns here and debuffs there, but it's not important enough to matter that much.
(Personally, I tried to play it straight for a while, coming up with new tricks and fun strategies, but I quickly realized it wasn't worth the effort and just went back to spamming my best moves like a caveman, heh.)
