should maybe in this. i'm mainly on the discord for the mods to keep the game exciting.....don't always work, but its a good time sink.

Adding to my previous message (be it for you if you still experience the issue or for future Linux users in the thread), I eventually got tired of getting an exception in the log every time I hover over a button, and tried Oracle Java,
jre-8u202-linux-x64.tar.gz. That seems to work perfectly without even the minor issues I had previously (and it should, really, this is the Java version the game is meant to be ran with). The only annoying part was installation - you can get it from

I'm not sure what to suggest, I tried once years and years ago but between some being folded in, some being buggy and the games general dislike for too many mods an everything pack was no good.

5 year anniversary of no story updates. I think I'm gonna call it here. Another life update: I published another novel, moved cities, and lost the 20 lbs... only to gain it back later in the year. I promise to keep them off when we get a story update.

Unless the mods suddenly decide to enforce the rules more strictly again.
I believe it's also a matter of privacy. Advertising the book here would expose their real identity and compromise their personal life. Imagine some shmuck you had an argument a year ago finding out who you are and exposing your conversations and fetishes to your family, friends and publisher.

theres an issue with the exe version where it dramatically slows down out of no where and will stop allowing saves and even find moving areas hard to do
